Nyonika moves and gives a kiss on her forehead.
                          
"Thank you aunty.",nandini said with a smile.
                          
"You know I would love it if you start calling me Mom or anything that you want to but not aunty anymore. This makes us sound distant.",nyonika complained and nandini nods feeling a bit shy suddenly.
                          
"You must be hungry, I will cook something. Why don't you call manik too?",nyonika asked her.
                          
"Manik hasn't eaten?",nandini asked her.
                          
"No, he said he would eat with you. He is in his room.",nyonika said her making paratha .
                          
She pours the coffee in two mugs and adds milk and sugar for herself.
                          
She arranged the plate as nyonika served her hot paratha.
                          
"I was thinking to eat upstairs with manik. I hope its okay?",nandini asked her.
                          
"You don't have to ask. Do whatever you want.",nyonika said caressing her cheeks and nandini smiles before serving some ketchup and chutney and taking enough paratha for both of them.
                          
She picks the coffee and puts everything in a tray before walking upstairs.
                          
She stops at manik's door and knocks before pushing it a little.
                          
She comes inside and looks around and finds manik sitting in the balcony with his laptop on his lap and working.
                          
She puts the tray on the table and picks his coffee and walks near him.
                          
She gives him the coffee and he sighs taking it from her.
                          
"Thank you so much, I really needed it.",manik said immediately taking a sip.
                          
"You okay?",she asked running her hands on his messed up hairs setting it properly.
                          
He gives her a half smile.
                          
"Just a bit frustrated but now that I had some coffee, I will be fine.",he said and turned to her completely.
                          
"You will feel great once you have some food. Aunty cooked paratha. Your favourite.",nandini said him and he gives her a big smile and moves to get up but his laptop pings.
                          
"Give me a minute.",he said as he read the email.
                          
Nandini went to get the tray and came back putting the tray on the table and looking at manik.
                          
He quickly replies and shuts the laptop and puts it away turning to her.
                          
"You could have started eating instead of waiting.",manik said seeing her waiting for him to finish his work.
                          
"You waited to eat breakfast with me too. ",Nandini said him and he smiled.
                          
"I know you don't like to eat alone and as you were sleeping late, I thought I would give you some company.",manik said his reason and she smiles at him.
                          
"Thank you.",she said grateful.
                          
"Anytime.",he said grinning back at her .
                          
"You know you could have called me down instead of getting the breakfast upstairs and taking trouble.",manik said taking a bite of his paratha.
                          
"I don't want to eat down. I needed an excuse.",nandini said him and he looked at her confused.
                          
"Why? What's wrong?",he asked her.
                          
"Grandpa cousin and her family are here. I don't like her and I need to keep my distance with her if I want to keep my mouth shut and not answer her back.",nandini said him and he nods in understanding.
