"Okay. Bye."
"Wait y/—"
I hang up. I couldn't be able to handle what comes next. I slowly put the phone in my pocket and look down as I kept walking towards our destination.
The boys are scattered around me. The talking stopped when they noticed my sudden frustration.
"You okay?" Thomas asks.
"Yeah I'm fine."
His arm slugs around me and we soon arrive in front of Rico's. Finn opens the door for all of us and we enter.
It's like a Red Mango essentially. I love frozen yogurt. Ash picked the perfect place.
"So basically—"
"Yeah yeah I know. We put the tougher in the cup and all the toppings and it costs by the weight."
"Well I've seen you been here before."
"Nah we don't have one in New York. But we do have a Red Mango which is the same thing."
"Oh nice."
We walk to where the cups are at and I look at all the sizes. Jack's arm leaves my shoulders as he grabs the medium cup.
"Does someone wanna share with me, I'm not that hungry."
"How do you share you get to put how much you want," Asher argues.
"Well I don't know how much I want so if I share with someone then it won't go to waste because they're also eating some."
"I'll share."
Somehow those words sent butterflies to my stomach. How could he offer? Wait why do I have butterflies. I'm confused. I've known him for less than two days. Right?
"My favvvvvvv!"
He chuckles and gets the medium cup. The rest of the boys start getting their yogurt and putting their toppings while me and Griffin stick together.
"We need to agree on something. Like on common flavor. We can get our own sides for the toppings," I establish.
"You make a lot of rules for frozen yogurt."
"We need order."
"Fair enough."
"Vanilla?"
"No too plain. Cookies and Cream?"
"Nah, not a fav. Mint chip?"
"Not feeling it. Strawberry?"
"Don't like it."
We both scan around the flavors. There's only ten. It's still a hard decision though.
"F/F?" We say in unison.
With smiles on our faces we nodded eagerly.
"Best flavor our there."
"Facts how could we not see it?" Griffin replied as he swirls the dessert into the cup.
We head over to the toppings section. I can already see half the boys sitting down. The rest were at the toppings bar with us.
I take the F/T and place it on my side.
"What are those?"
"F/T"
"That sounds creepy."
"It's good, your gonna try it."
"I refuse to eat that."
"It's good trust me." I say rolling my eyes and smiling.
"Don't disappoint," he says scooping reese's pieces on his side.
"Ew I hate those."
"Bro who doesn't like Resse's?"
"Me."
"That's concerning."
"It's a personal preference what can I do."
"I'm going to convince you to like Resse's."
"Never gonna happen I'm telling you right now."
"Yeah yeah okay."
I got to the sauces and decide what I want. But I don't drizzle it on, I load it up.
"Want some yogurt with that F/S."
"Haha," I saw rolling my eyes. "It's the best one."
"I beg to differ." Griffin takes the chocolate sauce and puts it on his side.
"Your toppings concern me on how they go together."
"How about I try a scoop of yours and vise versa."
"Deal."
We walk over to pay and I place the cup on the weight machine.
"13.86 is your total."
"Did we really put that much?" I ask as Griffin.
We both look down at the cup. It's. A. Mess.
"Oops."
I take out my wallet and hand the cashier fifteen dollars. He gives me my change and Griffin takes the cup and I grab two spoons.
"I was gonna pay."
"Well I did first."
"I'm paying next time then."
"Next time?"
"Of course."
"Are you asking me on a second date," I tease. Griffin blushes and looks down as we continue walking to the rest of the gang who are sitting outside because it's a nice day.
"Didn't know this was a first."
"Of course it is, just with tag-alongs," I tell him as I open the door.
He follows along as we sat down with the boys.
