Dr.Clinton Medina was seriously contemplating hitting his patient over the head with something to get him to hold still for his examination. Finally, he gave up. "Mr. Gagin you have a mild concussion. Which is amazing to me since you were hit in the side of the head with a gun. Your x-ray revealed no fracturing of the skull."

"You got lucky Mr. Gagin." You need to rest for the next two days. Please see to it he does rest Mrs. Gagin or he'll make it worse. Any concussion is a bruise on the brain and needs to be treated seriously. Now as for you Mr. Gagin, behave and I'll see about releasing you." Dr. Medina turned and left the room.

"Told the quack I was fine but no beam me with radiation for a stupid xray." "Hush now Hal they had to make sure you were okay." "But Leah, they even took blood for a head wound and he removed stitches from my head. That young medic of theirs must have messed up the stitching. You know I hate doctors."

"I've been healthy my whole life and now this, all for a bump on the head." "Leah sighed. You're almost done here, dear. Just be patient for a bit longer and we can go see the head of this place and then head for Pepepski." Douglas turned from the TV set in the room. "Yeah Dad, I thought they were going to admit you at first but be glad they aren't. Let's watch the news while we wait." Douglas turned the volume up.

Abbey Prent the local news anchor started off the broadcast. 'Good evening. Late last night a plane crashed into the downtown area of Lewell in Aldena County." Behind Abbey, the screen showed firefighters battling the huge blaze consuming the buildings of downtown Lewell. Firefighters were still battling the blaze.

The State flag was lowered to half-mast today for State Governor Adam Glenville who passed from the Sickness early this morning. He is survived by his young son Warren. Services for Governor Glenville will be held at Saint Michael's Chapel this evening from 3 PM to 7 PM.

"What's our weather this week going to look like Randy?" Randy Nunez gestured to the weather forecast behind him on the screen. "Well Abbey, we have a cold front moving in this evening and it is going to drop temperatures to just above the freezing mark for the next three nights. BRRR! With daytime temps only in the mid-40s."

Randy smiled and shook his head. "Sorry guys, but Thursday thru Saturday we are looking at the rain again. Thursday we're expecting it to be misty with a few popup showers in some areas. Friday through Saturday we have an 80% chance of rain with a possibility of severe weather. So be sure to watch your television and listen to your radio for severe weather alerts. That's the weather Back to you, Abby."

Abby smiled "For our top story tonight. Pepepski has become the central evacuation area for Palmer County and lately, we have been hearing radio broadcasts from Pepepski all over our area, courtesy of our military.

Many listeners are finding these broadcasts are a cause for hope. Our investigations have found that Pepepski is run by Ian and Kyle Brookstone. Ian Brookstone, The son of Ian Brookstone Senior and Evelynn Brookstone is carrying on their tradition of helping others."

"Pepepski takes in everyone, whether you are sick or not. They are also taking in the elderly and all orphans. Their promise is no child will go without a loving home."

"If you are traveling there or just need help, tune into the Pepepski broadcasts on your radio or seek out your nearest military outpost. For help locating a post near you please call the number at the bottom of your screen or contact your local radio station."
