Ian and Kyle's Place
Ian sighed in resignation the Colonel had gotten his deal. "Oh lover, don't sigh. Accept what the future holds for us." Ian wiped the warm wet cloth over Kyle's stomach. "How do you like your sponge bath so far baby?" Kyle giggled. "I'd love it more if you finished what you started before the others came in."
Ian smiled. "I've already been accused of assaulting a sick man. How much deeper do you want me to dig myself in." Kyle squirmed."Hmmm, deeper. That sounds wonderful, yes lover deeper please." Ian grinned. "Behave yourself. You're sick baby. Rest and fluids remember?" Kyle squirmed as the washcloth delved lower. "How can I behave seeing you look all sexy there washing me when you should be loving me."
Ian laughed. His lover was always wanting his body but that was one of the things he loved about Kyle. Of course, things might be better if he wasn't wanting his lover beneath him at the moment. He really needed to adjust himself. It was becoming very painful.
He finished his bathing of Kyle's tempting bits and moved to his legs. "Aww go back there and wash again. That area is begging for special attention lover." Ian shook his head. "You be a good boy and I'll snuggle up behind you after your bath. Deal?"Kyle pouted. "I hate being sick!"
Joe strode into the kitchen. "I see we got a bunch of hungry critters in here. Wyne giggled. "We's not critters we's boys."Joe grinned at the young boy. "All you kids are critters to me. Get near enough and I'll hug you. "The smaller kids giggled and squirmed in their seats.
"Chad I hope you're ready for this. Team 1 and the guys from Adelard are going to hit us right about the same time. Both groups are heavy on survivors. According to Seth, his group alone has 24 vehicles in it with two busloads of kids in the mix and Paxton says he has 11 vehicles plus sick ones in the truck." 
Chad smiled from over at the counter where he was busy assembling sandwiches. "Caleb arrived. He said Mack was having trouble getting the kids to settle down for rest time and that is why he was late." 
Joe grinned. "Ah, the rewards of parenthood. I'm glad I'm a grandpa. Get the kids on a sugar rush and all riled up, then ship them off to their parents to deal with." Chad laughed. "Hunter and I are looking forward to parenthood. We're just talking about how to handle it with him and I staying over at the hospital and each of us having a  day job."
Joe frowned. "The old Swanhue place is big enough and you've got built-in daycare over here while you work. What's the problem?" Chad frowned. "Is a hospital the right place to raise children? All that sickness and suffering. The kids would find it impossible to play without disturbing the patients."
It's been amusing mixing the animals in though. The kids and some of the adults love it. It raises their spirits to see them. I swear it's helping them recover faster." Chad giggled. "Chief and Brownie crawl right in the beds with the small ones. You can see the happiness on their faces as they recover."
"Jax sniffs everywhere. He's really popular with all the patients except the room with Miranda Goshnick and the other gossips. Every time Jax gets in there they have to grab their phones or he runs off with them. We've had to go out in the backyard and dig up two of them already. Honestly, I think Jax was upset we dug them up and is looking for new hiding spots."
"Thank goodness, we shut the bathroom doors. I caught him trying to get into one with Erma Lelllinger's phone in his mouth. I swear he had evil intentions of flushing it down the toilet. " Joe and the kids laughed. "There's doggies here?" Joe nodded at Killian. We have three of them here but they're all in sleeping with their boys right now. You can play with them after they get up."
