"So Eric," Brielle begins, "why do you think you will win?" I let out a nervous chuckle.
"I wish I had an answer but, well, most people in the Hunger Games are strong, futile, and have a desire to kill. I am not very strong, futile, or have a great desire to kill. Although, I hope I will be able to control my outcomes in the game. I mean, a slingshot might not be the best weapon, but it is the only one I know how to use. But I'm sure I'll figure out my other strengths in the Game. I guess I think I will win because, I have to. I promised my sister back in District 13 that I would win, and I would come home to her." I rubbed my sweating palms together. Brielle gave me a reassuring smile. The interview was almost over.
"So, Eric, what makes you more interesting than the other tributes?" I thought about this for a minute.
"I'm from District 13. A slingshot is the only weapon I know how to use correctly." I paused. "And I'm really scared."
"Eric from Distrct 13!"
