I stood off to the side with Tucker, playing a game of tic tac toe on the wall out of boredom. We had found some chalk in a storage box.
"Ha! I win again!" Tucker said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Why not play against Caboose? At least with him you know you would have a guaranteed win." Tucker said as I drew another one on the wall.
'Because Caboose would get so confused he would place an x over an o and continue to do so through the game.' I signed.
"True, want to listen in on Church and Tex's conversation after this one?" Tucker asked as I drew an o in the middle.
'Sure' I signed, handing him the chalk.
A bit of time had passed as we traded the chalk.
"Ha! I win again!" Tucker said, dropping the chalk. I gave him a slow sarcastic golf clap.
'Wow, you won four rounds of the easiest game in the history of games, good job Tucker.' I signed, trying to make the sarcasm evident.
"Your being sarcastic, arn't you?" Tucker said.
'Yep, here, try one more game.' I signed, smirking under my helmet.
He rolled his eyes and picked the chalk back up.
Not even a minute passed, only three turns had passed.
"What!" Tucker said, looking at my win.
I smirked, 'Don't let your ego you to your head, Tucker.' I said, picking up the chalk and dropping it in the box.
"You mean to say you could have won that easily the whole time?" Tucker said.
'Yep.' I signed, walking off towards where Church and Tex were last seen to eavesdrop.
"So you back up to a hundred percent yet?" I heard Church saying. I looked to my right to see that Tucker had followed and was also listening.
"Yeah. And whatever I didn't learn from Caboose I've been able to pick up from the rest of the guys. Didn't take long." Tex said.
"Yeah we really don't seem to do much." Church said.
'That's a lie, we actually seem to do a lot these last two years.' Tau thought.
'Ya....' I replied.
"Maybe you should get a hobby. Like knitting." Tex said.
'Har, har, Tex. My hobbies consist of Meditating and painting. That second one though? I keep on the down low. Don't want to get teased for enjoying painting scenery.' I thought.
'You painted Blood Gulch once, didn't you?' Tau asked.
'Yep and that painting is probably rotting away in an abandoned cave, along with my computers and things.' I thought.
'Two years of disrepair in that hot canyon and caves? Very likely.' Tau said.
"We'll look into it." Church said.
"Hey, how did you know how to bring me back?" Tex asked.
'He didn't 'Bring you back' per say. No, he more or less created another you.' Tau thought.
'That is extremely confusing, Tau.' I thought.
'Sorry.' He said.
"Honestly I didn't have much choice. I couldn't get you outta my head so I kind of, had to, get you, outta my head." Church said.
'Well, I guess that's one way to say it.' Tau thought.
"Wow, how emo. Maybe you can blog about it." Tex said sarcastically.
