Chapter 40. Inkling or Octoling?

                                    

                                          
This is sadly the last chapter TwT and this was a really good book because it had a lot of success, I got 4 followers out of it, I got 2k views, and I have over 100 votes. That doesn't happen very often but I just want to say thank you to all.
 
~Cora's (Agent 3) pov~
It's been a few months that me and Lance have been married. We got a house and Emma managed to buy herself an apartment. Later after me and Lance got married Wafflez and Daniel did and it was joyful as ever. My mom usually visits us a lot and I don't mind, she checks up on us because we're adults and we should know what we're doing also because we're married. But the past three weeks I haven't been feeling well, I've felt very feverish and been throwing up. I went to several doctors and they said nothing was wrong with me, and I think I caught a virus that they don't know. I woke up feeling my lazy self again like the past three weeks.
  "Morning my Queen." Lance wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck.
     "Morning love." I replied to him.
  "Still feeling the same?" He asked me.
    "Yup...." I turned around to his side.
  "I'll make you some breakfast!" He kissed my head and got up. I nodded but then covered my mouth.
    "Can you also bring a bucket." I asked him covering my mouth.
   "Sure thing hun." He went downstairs to grab one. I turned to my nightstand and grabbed my squidphone. I then pressed Wafflez and called her.
"Hey Cora what's wrong?"
"I just haven't been feeling good lately, I've been feeling very feverish the past three weeks and been throwing up. I went to several doctors but they said I was fine!"
"Ok I'll be there soon, and I'm going to bring a little something something."
"Ok thanks" I hung up and then fell asleep.
~Wafflez's (Agent 5) pov~
When I called Cora she didn't sound anything like herself. And they way she was describing how she didn't feel good sounded like....no she can't be! I had the blue box right next to me and I was a bit scared. I soon arrived at there house and grabbed the box. I knocked on the door and Lance opened it. 
   "Where's Cora? She called me." I asked Lance.
  "She's resting, but I'm sure she won't mind you coming in." Lance reassured and let me in. I walked up the spiral staircase. I opened her door and she was throwing up.
  "Cora?" I walked in and looked at her.
    "Y-Yes? Oh Wafflez!" She turned to me.
 "I brought the little something something." I told her and showed it to her.
    "Do you really think I am?" She questioned me.
  "Well it's worth a shot." I gave her one and pushed her in the bathroom. I wanted 5 minutes and I could her little sobs. 
  "Cora-" As I walked in I found the tip pink and she was....
    "Why are you crying?! You should be happy!" I tried to make her stop crying.
 "I-I know i-it's just I'm s-scared for Lance's reaction t-torwards this." She stuttered as she hugged me.
   "Stop about the scared of reaction! Just tell him and you'll know how he feels don't think!" I explained to her.
  "F-Fine." She grabbed it from the floor and walked out of her room to Lance. I walked out to see all what's happening.
 "L-Lance." She got his attention.
   "Yes Cora?" He looked at her.
  "I-I'm.....pregnant." She showed him the test which was pink.
  "P-Pregnant!! Does that mean your having a child!?" He exclaimed with happiness. Cora just nodded and Lance pulled her into a kiss. She dropped the test and she kissed him back. What true love!
~9 months later~
  ~Cora's (Agent 3) pov~
I walked into the kitchen and waited for Lance to finish cooking breakfast. I was holding my stomach as are child would be here any day now.
  "Are you excited to see your squid or Octo?" I asked him as I stood next to him.
   "I'm more then excited to see my own child." He kissed me. I just smiled and sat on the couch rubbing my round stomach. But as I did I felt hard kicks in my stomach and it was so much pain. Don't be serious!? You can't come today!?
  "L-Lance!!!" I shouted. He stopped the stove and ran over to me.
    "What's the problem!" He asked looking for any damaged parts.
  "I-I think t-the b-baby is c-coming!!" I shirked in pain.
    "W-What!?" He panicked and grabbed me bridal style and rushed to the car. He drove super fast to the hospital and they took me in a room.
~Lance's (Agent 8) pov~
I was pacing back and forward panicking about Cora and the baby. I gave a call to Emma, Cora's family, Wafflez & Dainel, then Flynn and Natalie.
  "We got your call." Wafflez tried to breath. It looked like she was running to the hospital.
   "We came..from....the....mall." Dainel said and fell down on the chair behind him.
     "I'm sure your very excited to see your son or daughter!" Natalie cane into the waiting room with us with a gift. Flynn was right besides her and I saw a little blanket and it was my magenta color and Cora's green yellow color.
   "Thank you so much." I thanked them. But as a few more minutes past I heard Cora yell in pain. It made me more stressed until a doctor came out of the room.
  "Is she ok!?" I asked her.
     "Are you the father?" She asked me.
  "No, that's why I wouldn't be telling you if she was ok. Yes I am." I just crossed my arms.
   "Alright follow me." She ordered. Later as I was walking I saw Pearl, Marina, and Callie & Marie in the hallway. I told them were the waiting room was and went into Cora's hospital room. As I walked in....I saw Cora holding a little Octo form in her arms.
   "Meet your daughter Lance!" Cora kisssd me. Her eyes were like Cora's and mine, she had that line that connected inklings eyes and then she had that extension at the end of her eyes. She was my magenta ink color and she was fast asleep.
  "Lance....you are my one." Cora whispered to me. I just smiled at her and kissed her cheek.
   "What are you going to name her?" The doctor had her birth certificate. Me and Cora looked at each other and nodded.
 "38...we'll call her 38."
