Chapter 37. Games

                                    

                                          
Abel's POV
                          
Time has gone by without incident Aiden has stayed away from Jaime and I but the damage is already done. Jaime and I have to sneak around just to see each other thanks to Aiden they know a twisted version of what happened.
                          
Mom has been taking my paychecks I give it all to her she gives back what she doesn't need or want out of it which isn't a lot considering how high the bills are. 
                          
Jaime's parents are out of town so I promised her I'd come over tonight when I was done working. I'm definitely going to have to go home and shower though I smell like oil and sweat. 
                          
My phone buzzes I check the text since my shift is nearly done assuming it's Jaime but it's not.
                          
Unknown number: Hey babe it's been a long time wanna get together?
                          
Me: Who is this?
                          
Unknown number: Brandy.
                          
Me: I think you got the wrong number.
                          
Unknown number: Hmm no Abel I don't think I do.
                          
Instead of responding I ignore it and get back to work when I finish the Dodge Dakota I park it out back and take the keys into the office then clock out.
                          
I get on my bike and kick it to life heading home. When I get into my bedroom I quickly strip down get in the shower and then get out. My phone buzzes I check it I have six texts it's Brandy I quickly get dressed and then call the number.
                          
"Hi baby!" She squeals excitedly.
                          
"Don't call me that, and stop texting me. What could you possibly fucking want? Let me guess Aiden give you my number? It's a pity isn't it Brandy that you found out his dick is smaller then mine?" I ask. "Lose my fucking number." I hang the phone up before she can respond.
                          
I grab the keys to my truck and head down the stairs. "Abel?" Mom asks.
                          
"Yeah?" I ask tiredly.
                          
"Brandy was here earlier, she's in town..." Mom trails off looking worried.
                          
"Are you kidding..." I whisper.
                          
She shakes her head. "What do I tell her if she comes by again?" Mom asks.
                          
"To drop dead." I shrug and open the front door. 
                          
I stop dead when I come face to face with a curvy blond her familiar green eyes meet mine. I swallow hard and grit my teeth.
                          
"Abel." She breaths.
                          
"Leave." I growl.
                          
"I came all this way to see you baby." She smiles coming towards me and running her hands up my chest which repulses me. I grab her hands tightly and pull her into me rage pulsing through me.
                          
"I don't want to be with in a hundred miles of you, you crazy bitch." I say with so much venom in my voice that her breathing hitches and she stares at me worriedly. "Go find Aiden he is much lonelier then I am." 
                          
"I don't want Aiden." She sneers.
                          
"Can't satisfy you to well?" I chuckle. "You should have thought about that before you decided to whore around."
                          
I shove her out of my way this is one of Aidens sick twisted fucking games. Aiden pulls up behind my truck but I get in pull forward whip the truck into the grass and peel out around him.
                          
This is just fucking great I did not think I was going to have to explain to my girlfriend tonight that my crazy ex is in town.
                          
I shut the truck off getting out and head for the door knocking on it, she opens it and beams when she see's me.
                          
The light in her eyes quickly fades out when she takes in my expression. "A-abel what's wrong?" She stutters.
                          
"We need to talk." I say in a low voice.
                          
She backs up swallowing hard stepping to the side to let me in. We head up the stairs to her bedroom she sits cross legged on her bed as I stand across from her fuming.
                          
"When I was at work I got a strange text..." I trail off pulling my phone out handing it to her to show her Brandy's messages.
                          
Her eyes widen I can see the jealousy playing in her features as she reads the first text. She looks up at me confused. "Who's Brandy?" She squeaks.
                          
"My first girlfriend she is bat shit crazy to so you know. We were together I don't know two months way back when I was like fourteen it's been a damn long time. Anyways she fucked around on me with Aiden and I dumped her." I explain. "It bothered me for a while because she is the girl I lost it to..." I trail off.
                          
She stares at me in shock but doesn't speak.
                          
"Ever since the incident she's tried getting me back at least a dozen times. One night I admit I kinda gave into her it was right before Kelly and I got together. I was drunk and high totally out of it, I went upstairs to pass out Brandy came in and we had sex. ONE TIME." I say sternly. "Her and Aiden tried everything they could to break up Kelly and I. I shouldn't have slept with her but I was fucked up and horny so I didn't think about the repercussions of it. She's pissed at me she thought we were going to get back together or some shit." I say throwing my hands over my face and rubbing it in irritation.
                          
"Why didn't you ever tell me about this?" She asks sounding hurt.
                          
"I would have had I thought it'd matter. She moved out to California after that accident with you. I figured she fucking moved on by now didn't seem important to even bring it up." I huff plopping down in one of her arm chairs.
                          
Propping my head up with my hand and rubbing my forehead. 
                          
"Where is she now?" Jaime asks.
                          
"My house." I admit looking at her worriedly.
                          
"Oh my god." She whispers burying her face in her hands.
                          
"I'm so sorry love. I tried to tell her to leave to scare her away it isn't gonna work she don't scare easy she knows I'd never hurt her." I shake my head. "Maybe we should take a break for a while. Let them think that it's working or something and they might back off."
                          
Jaime stands up marches across the room angrily and straddles me grabbing my face in her hand narrowing her eyes at me. "That won't work Abel then Aiden is just going to come after me Brandy will come for you and then what huh?" Jaime asks angrily.
                          
I sigh grabbing her hand and pulling them down into our laps, I lay my head back against the chair. "I don't know what else to do I'm so tired of playing these games. That mother fucker is going to do something... horrible I know it." I whisper.
                          
Tears build up in her eyes she leans down smashing her lips to mine. "I love you." She mumbles against my lips.
                          
"I love you." I tell her running a hand into her hair and bringing her lips back to mine letting the fiery passion between us burn me.
                          



                          


                          
A/N: It has been MUCH to long since I updated this book which is ridiculous because I know exactly how I'm going to finish this book lol. I got busy with so many other things guys sorry about that! I'm so happy this book is almost done and I love how it's turned out so far.
