"It wasn't your fault, none of this is your fault." Paul said.

"I know but it still feels like I should've done something. I didn't . . . I knew better because you always taught me to stand up for myself."

"No, don't do that, manipulators do that to you. They make you think it's your fault, I know people like that." Le said.

"Let's just do this, I want to finish." I told him.

We spent the next two hours in the event room speaking to the police sergeant. I gave him the copies of the text conversations and handed over my phone so that he could see that it wasn't a lie. Thankfully everything was timestamped so my proof is valid, I have a case and he'll stay in jail for domestic violence.

I gave full accounts of every time that he hit me, every word that he said and every threat he issued. This is without a doubt the most difficult thing I've ever had to do in my life. I've never spoken about it to anyone and doing it now seems wrong, it's like I'm going against everything I've worked for but I have to do it. Doing this, telling my story might help another woman get out of a similar situation or so the sergeant said when I started stalling.

It felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders though, like I could finally breathe again and it was awesome. He is never going to bother me again and it'll be all in the news very soon until a bigger story drowns it out. I'll just have to deal with it until a bigger story comes out. Normally a wrestler isn't that big of a profile but domestic violence and arrests apparently warrant the barrage of reporters that are outside of the hotel.

"What did you do to my son?" I heard as I left the event room.

"Hello Alice . . . I . . ."

"No, you don't get to be nice right now. What the hell did you do? Why are you doing this to him?" she demanded.

"Gentleman this is Alice Mann, she is Trevor's mom." I told the four men that were behind me.

"Mrs. Mann, I'm police sergeant Michael Chase. I'm in charge of the case against your son." the sergeant said.

"What case? There is no case! She's just being over dramatic about his social media posts." she shouted.

"Alice . . ."

"I can't believe you'd do that to him! He was only trying to get back together with you, he told me that you were playing with his emotions and playing hard to get. Then you send him to jail after you invite him to your room."

"Alice! I never invited him to my room, as a matter of fact I've been trying to get him to leave me alone for months now. I wasn't playing with his emotions or anything else either, he was stalking me." I informed her.

"No! He loves you, he would never . . ."

"Ma'am look at this." the sergeant said, showing her the papers.

"What is . . . oh, when did . . . oh no. He wouldn't do this, this is a lie, you're just trying to hurt him." she cried, tearing up as she read more.

"Alice I still have the conversations on my phone."

"But he said bruises." she said softly.

"He was hitting me for months before I broke up with him. I couldn't tell anyone, I couldn't tell you most of all. Trevor has always been the light of your eyes, I didn't want to mess that up." I told her.

"Why would he do this?" Alice asked.

"I don't know ma'am but he'll never do it again." my dad said.

"Arianna, I'm so . . ."

"Don't, please don't Alice. This wasn't anymore your fault than it was mine, I don't know why he did it or why he chose me to be the victim but it's over now." I told her.

"I . . . how am I supposed to tell the girls this? How do I tell them that they're big brother is a . . . woman beater? What did I do to my boy?" she asked.

"Nothing that you did ma'am, some guys just can't handle aggression. We've got him locked up in city jail and after this there will be a trial. Would you like to come with me and speak to him." the officer asked.

"I knew something was off but I never thought it was something like this." she said to me.

"What?" I asked her.

"There were times that I would call Trevor and tell him to come over but he would make up what I thought were excuses. You weren't feeling good, he wasn't feeling good, it was always something but I thought you were just fighting. I wasn't entirely sure what was happening but I never thought . . ."

"He was very careful not to leave a mark but broken ribs or lips when it didn't happen on tv aren't easy to conceal."

"Ribs?" my dad asked angrily, making me regret my words immediately.

"It happened once or twice, easy enough to heal since it's happened before at work. Took me a fraction of the healing time since I knew what to do."

"I can't believe I didn't notice what was happening." Alice said.

"Me either. He's lucky that I didn't know this before because he wouldn't be in jail." dad added, not bothering to hide his rage.

"It wasn't something that you were supposed to notice, I worked hard to make sure that no one did and he sure as hell didn't want anyone to see it." I said.

"Are you threatening my son?" Alice asked angrily.

"That's not a threat, had I known what was happening I would've taken him down." dad said.

"There's a long list of men who would've hurt your son if they knew what was happening." Paul added.

"He started to really lose his shit when she started dating again and my daughter has every right to move on. She deserves so much better." dad said.

"You need to tell her the rest." Le whispered.

"There's more?" she asked.

"I can't . . . don't . . ."

"You tell her or I will."dad growled.

"What else?" Alice asked me.
