One Week Later:
It's been a long week, ever since the kingdom got itself a new ruler. And to celebrate it reviving again, the castle was throwing a ball. Everyone was dressed up so elegant and fancy. Women wore ball gowns, and men wore tuxedos. The ballroom was filled with over a thousand people, and it looked magnificent. Music was playing in the air, foods were out and fresh, champagne was poured, everything was going absolutely amazing. As everyone finished dancing to the first waltz, they all heard trumpets, and Arthur came out on the staircase of the ballroom. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome in our beautiful and brave queen, Danger.", Arthur announced as everyone clapped. Danger came down the stairs slowly, and everyone was staring at how beautiful she looked. She had her hair down in curls, she wore a sparkly black dress, she had on opened toed heels, and she even had a tiara on her head.

As she finally made it down to the final step, Arthur kissed her hand and bowed down

As she finally made it down to the final step, Arthur kissed her hand and bowed down. Everyone bowed down too, and clapped again. "Thank you, my loyal subjects. I know that we're all in a serious situation at this point; with the whole war nonsense. But as queen, I promise to make sure that we will keep our kingdom away from King Death!", Danger said. Her speech was grand, and very modest. As everyone clapped for her again, they all continued on with the ball. "Wow... This is a lot of people.", she told Arthur. "Hahahaha!!!! Your majesty, these are your people. Of course there's a lot.", Arthur said. Danger looked down a bit and re-heard on what he just told her. "Yeah... And so many to protect, too...", she said in a quiet tone. "You're majesty, are you alright?", Arthur asked her. But Danger looked up quickly and tried to act normal again. "Oh no! Not at all... I'm fine... If you'll excuse me...", Danger said. She then left the stairs and walked down the dance floor. Everyone was busy talking to each other, and that made Danger feel uncomfortable a bit. Even with a war coming up soon, she was a little bit nervous about what might happen if the kingdom loses. As she stopped for a moment to think to herself, she got tapped on the shoulder. She turned around, and saw that it was Natemare. He had on a black tuxedo, with a red belt going around it. Basically, it was a prince tux he was wearing for tonight.

"Is there any day, you don't see me?", Danger asked playfully as Natemare chuckled at her

"Is there any day, you don't see me?", Danger asked playfully as Natemare chuckled at her. "Oh come on, it's a ball. We should be dancing.", he said as he grabbed her hand. But Danger backed away from him, which got Natemare confused. "I'm sorry, Natemare... But the thing is.... I can't dance...", Danger said as she blushed. She thought of that as the most stupidest thing to say ever. "It's okay, I'll help you. Shall we dance?", he said. "What?...", Danger asked as Natemare gave her his hand. "Shall we dance?", he asked. Danger then gave him a smile, and grabbed his hand. "Yes!", she said while wrapping her arm around his neck. As she put her other hand in his, they both waltz and danced around the floor. It was like watching Cinderella. Except, they were both moving around the floor slow and steady. So far, Danger was actually doing pretty good with her first waltz. She was even enjoying the dance. "Wow! You are really quite the dancer, I must say.", she complimented Natemare. "Why thank you, my dear...", Natemare said as Danger thought to herself for a moment. Still remembering about what happened a few days ago, really got her thinking about her feelings for Natemare. "Natemare... What we did a few nights ago.... I mean, that means something, right? Or it doesn't?...", she asked as he looked at her all confused. "Of course it means something. You were able to prove that you love me. I've already done my part, now it was your turn. And you did.", Natemare explained. Danger didn't think to herself anymore, she just continued dancing. Just thinking about what she and Natemare did, was really making her feel weird for some weird reason. As the waltz finished, everyone clapped for the dancers. "Come with me. I want to tell you something.", Natemare said. Danger didn't know what he wanted, but she followed him out to the balcony to see anyway. And whatever is was, she was hoping that it will be something greater than what happened to her and Natemare the other night ago.
