                             Fernando's POV
    I was surprised at Aaron's response, I never expected him to cover me like that and I didn't expect Halo to let us off like that especially on the first day back. We stood up exiting the office walking down the hallway in silence. I was debating saying something to break the silence but I could feel the tension in the air. Aaron was walking further ahead of me but I wanted to catch up to see why the hell he did what he did. 
"Hey wait!" I called out as he stopped so I could catch up to him 
"Why'd you do that?" I asked stepping in front of him 
"Were you trying to get suspended? I have enough suspensions from last year. Did you think I'd stick up because I care for your safety or for your record? No I did it because I don't want my time wasted on asses like you" He said glaring at me while he had a bruise on his cheek 
"You didn't have to do that Aaron I could've handled it myself" I said 
"We can go back there and tell him he real story" Aaron said as he began turning around 
"Alright, alright... I appreciate the fact that you did that" I said not looking at him 
"I don't need your kindness...quit being protective of Lizbeth. You act like your her boyfriend and it's honestly not good look for you" He said as he walked away. 
"I have not reasons for being protective and you'll never understand that" I said getting you his face before walking past him shoving him. I didn't look back at his reaction. I wanted to make it clear that he doesn't get his way all the time. 
                             
                                     Lizbeth's POV
    I was by my locker getting some stuff out and putting organizing my stuff. I wasn't in the mood after what happened between the guys. I get why Fernando is protective after what happened two years ago and it's honestly comforting sometimes and sometimes it's just too much. I know it's my first day of high school and I'm already not in class. What the hell were they thinking? I mean seriously it's Fernando's first day as a freshman and he's probably already getting suspended and who even knows what's going to happen to Aaron, he knows the ups and downs of this school. 
I heard footsteps coming down the wide hallway but I assumed nothing of it I couldn't see who it was since the door of my locker was blocking the way. I finished organizing my stuff with when I closed my locker to come face to face with Aaron that I nearly stumbled back. 
"Jesus..." I said putting my hand on my chest "give me the heads up next time, yeah?" I said not looking at him 
"Sorry I thought you'd see me" He said learning against the locker, he had a bruise on his check 
"I didn't see you" I said as I was about to walk past him but he was able to grab my arm on time causing me to make eye contact with him 
"I know you saw what you saw but Fernando provoked me..I'm sure you know how he is by this point" he said looking at dead in the eye 
"I do...but a fight? Really?" I asked disappointment in him
"He must've saw when we're talking and I guess he got triggered by it, he told me to stay away from you, not like he can't stop me" he said letting go of my arm getting closer to my face and I don't know why I wasn't stopping him 
"I told Fernando to back off" I said whispering myself
"I don't want to cause any predicament between you guys...you guys seem really close just...I'm sure he listens to you when you put him in his place" he said
