"Well?" Jin repeated, clearly running out of patience.

My eyes repeatedly darted to and fro Taehyung and Jimin. I suddenly felt like that kid in school the teacher asks a question and all the other kids stare at them. My stomach turned upside down and I gulped loudly.

The truth was, I really didn't want to cause any nuisance to any of the boys. Taehyung and Jimin had gotten in a fight just because of me. Jimin's lips were swollen because of me. Jin was standing there with us, out in the cold, just because of me.

Moreover, as much as I felt for him, I was still kind of pissed at Jimin. I was outraged at the fact that he had thought it would be okay to get drunk and come by to yell under my window. This wasn't college and we weren't just a bunch of kids messing around. They were grown up men. This wasn't normal.

"I'm sorry," I broke the thick silence that weighed over our shoulders. I glanced up to look at Jimin. "I can't go with you to the hospital. Today was... too much. And I really need to rest," my eyebrows dipped slightly as I offered him an apologetic look.

This was still partially true. By that moment, I was heavily sleep-deprived and felt as though I was going to pass out.

The other part of the truth, though, was that I was slightly scared of what Taehyung would do if I go with Jimin.

He had already started a fight over something so insignificant as Jimin helping me out with my car battery. What else was he capable of doing?

I really didn't want to think about that.

"So I think that settles that," Jin inhaled sharply, turning around to wall to his car. He glanced over his shoulder to call out to Jimin. "Come on, I hope Dr. Song would be available this time of night."

His expression practically unreadable, Jimin's eyes didn't leave mine. He stared at me intently for a couple more seconds before his arms fell to his sides in defeat. "Good," he uttered through gritted teeth, spinning on his heel to follow his hyung.

I turned around to look at Taehyung. His face was radiating with a triumphant glow, even though I could tell he was trying to suppress it in front of me. "That's my girl," he beamed proudly, pulling me closer to him. I could hear the low rumble of the engine of Jin's car in the distance. They were already going.
