We just sat down and talked while we waited for the crew. They got here fairly soon after that. They took me straight to hair and makeup and did it naturally. 
                          
They got me into my first outfit and put me behind the simple back drop. 
                          
As soon as I stepped in front of the camera, my nerves faded away. I just trusted my gut.

I had wrapped up on the shoot and I was heading to my house to get changed for tonight. I drove home and got straight out of the car. I left all my stuff in the car cause I was just running in to get changed before I had to go again. 
                          
I walked inside to my room, no one else was home. I put on a warm jumper and some leggings with the same white shoes. I just wanted to be comfortable tonight cause I had a long tiring day. My hair was still curled nicely from the shoot so I just left it. 
                          
I grabbed my keys and phone again and locked up the house. I walked out to my car and hopped straight in trying to keep warm. I pulled away from the house and drove with the heater on to my parents house. 
                          
It was 6:00 and everyone was already at my parents house. They all got there at 5:30 but I told them I would be a bit late. Pat told me to text him when I got there. 
                          
So when I arrived, I parked the car and texted Pat. I got out of the car and walked up the stairs to the house. I knocked on the door and Pat answered almost immediately.
                          
"Hey" I said surprised at how fast he answered the door.
                          
"Hey" he replied as he pulled me in for a hug.
                          
"How was your day?" I asked him.
                          
"It was alright, how was yours?" He asked.
                          
"It was pretty good" I replied.
                          
"So before we go outside and you see everyone. I just wanted to warn you that my whole family is really excited to see you" He told me.
                          
"Really? Aw yay that's so cute" I said.
                          
"No it's not. I'm pretty sure they love you more than they love me" Pat said.
                          
"No they don't, you know that" I reassured him. 
                          
"You'll see" he said jokingly. We then made our way out to the backyard where my whole family was sitting along with the whole Cripps family. 
                          
I was walking behind Pat as we walked outside. He moved to the side as we got out. Everyone stood up as they saw me come out. I first went over to Pat's mum Cath. She pulled me in for a hug and a kiss on the cheek. 
                          
"How are you sweetie?" She asked me as she examined my face.
                          
"I'm great thanks, how are you?" I said to her.
                          
"I'm good" she said. I then moved over to Pat's Dad who gave me a hug. Then repeated it with everyone else. 
                          
My mum and Pat's mum went inside to start cooking dinner, so I went inside to help them. Leaving all the boys to chat outside by the barbecue. I went to my handbag and grabbed my phone out. 
                          
I had a message from Jess, the photographer from the shoot. She sent me a few practice shots to let me have an idea of how I would look. 
                          
Once I had a good look, I put my phone away in my pocket and went to the kitchen. My mum and Cath were cutting things to go along with the barbecue meat.
                          
"Anything I can do to help?" I asked them.
                          
"Yep, you can chop the veggies for the salad please love" Mum asked me.
