A/N: honestly idk anymore

A smile was on her face, as she looked at Clementine, she was so lucky to finally meet someone like her.

Clementine looked at Violet, catching her staring, "What're you looking at?" Clementine asked playfully.

Violet let out a small giggle, looking at the ground, speeding up her walking pace slightly.

Clementine's smile grew wider, grabbing Violets hand gently.

"Can't get away from me that easily..." Clementine mumbled stopping in her tracks.

Violet was forced to stop as well, looking a Clementine, her cheeks slightly red, "But... i could if i tried.." Violet challenged, a small smirk now on her face.

Violet kept remembering their day, as she sat in the waiting room, Louis was there with her, keeping to himself.

She was holding back tears, scared that Clementine wouldn't make it, scared that she may never see her again.

They walked out of the bar, Clementine stumbling a bit, Violet didn't drink that much, so she was fine.

"Come on Clem, lets get you home... i'll call a cab.." Violet pretty much commanded, she searched her pockets, looking for her phone, not finding it.

"Fuck, Clem.. i left my phone in the bar, i'll be right back. stay. here." Violet said seriously, running back to the bar.

But... we should all know by now, you should NEVER leave someone that's drunk, out near the streets.

She blamed herself, thinking of all the things she could've changed... while looking back on the whole thing.

"it's all my fucking fault..." Violet mumbled to herself, her voice breaking.

Louis looked up from his phone, looking at Violet, he got up and sat next to her.

"Hey... ssshhh it's okay, she'll be fine.." Louis tried to reassure Violet, patting her on the back.

Violet ran back outside her phone in hand, "Hey! Clem i found my phone, i'll call the cab no-" she was cut off by hearing a car skid to a stop, and a loud bash.

She quickly looked around, her heart began racing at the thought of not seeing Clem there.

Violet ran quickly to where she heard the noise, her eyes widened and a gasp escaped her lips.

The person got out of the car, going over to Clementine, who was saying on the ground, she was all bloody and out cold.

Violet ran over to them, kneeling down, "Is she breathing?!" Violet yelled in a panicky voice.

The man checked her pulse, "Yes... she's alive, i-i tried to stop... i really did, it's just... it didn't stop in time." He explained himself.

Violet just nodded, not knowing what to say, she was in shock... but she couldn't cry...

Why wouldn't Violet blame herself? there's so many things that could be fixed... if she could go back in time and erase the things she did wrong...

"Louis... i-" she let out a shaky breath. "I can't lose her... i just can't, she's the one thing that made me happy.. after Minnie..." Violet explained, putting her hands on her head, looking at the floor.

Louis nodded, "You won't lose her Vi, Clem is strong. she'll make it..." He said, hesitantly wrapping his arms around her, trying to comfort her.

But that didn't work, Violet was going to break, and soon... her emotions were building up.
