It had been two weeks and Minho still cried himself to sleep. The skies only seemed to darken and the rains pit-pat never seemed to end. The town was in sorrow, seven people had been buried. Minho was currently at the graveyard. The tears just kept streaming down his cheeks.
"It's my fault." He whispered to Jeongin behind him.
The younger boy shook his head and laid a hand on Minho's shoulder. He embraced Minho and squeezed his shoulders.
"It's not, stop telling yourself that." Jeongin said and Minho just shook his head.
"If I hadn't—" he couldn't finish the sentence and started to sob.
Jeongin hugged him tighter and bit his lip not to cry too. Minho shook slightly in his arms. Minho couldn't live without him. He was buried with Minho's happiness. That's what Minho believe at least.
Minho's tears stopped falling down his cheeks but he kept his head down. Jeongin rocked him slightly back and forth. The younger hummed on a song Minho recognized but he couldn't lay a finger on it. It seemed like Jeongin hummed the song everywhere he went.
"Should we go to the hospital now?" Jeongin spoke softly and stroke Minho's hair.
Minho nodded as a respond and they began to walk away. The older looked back at the tomb. How could he live or love without him again?
It didn't take long to walk to the hospital. After seven minutes they entered the huge white building. Jeongin and Minho took the elevator to the fifth floor for the first time. They usually took the stairs, but both of them were tired.
Minho waited impatiently as the elevator slowly went upwards. He almost ran out of the elevator when the doors opened. He speed walked through the corridor, looking at the numbers on the doors.
234, 236, 248, 250 and finally 252. Minho stopped in front of the door. Jeongin was walking slowly, not hurrying at all. Minho heard his heartbeat loud and clear. His heart beat hard against his ribcage. He took a deep breath before pressing down the door handle and opening the door.
The room was spotless and quiet as usual. The only furniture was the bed and a table beside. The window was open and Minho could hear the birds chirping outside.
Jisung smiled softly at him. He sat in the window, one of his legs hanging down while the other was pressed against his chest. He looked peaceful while sitting there in his white hospital clothing.
Minho sniffled and walked forward him. The younger wrapped his arms around Minho and squeezed tight. Minho relaxed in Jisung's arms. His heart was beating at a steady pace, calming him down.
"You shouldn't be sitting in the window. What if you fall down?" Minho asked, his voice groggy from crying.
Jisung just smiled at him and shook his head. He closed his eyes and turned his face to the cloudy sky. A thin rain started to fall and a cool breeze swept into the room. Jisung didn't seem to bother though. Jeongin, on the other hand, shivered in the door opening. It was quiet in the room. The three boys breathed easier as the days passed. They could finally feel safe for real.
"You love me right?" Jisung whispered as he stroke Minho's hair.
Minho nodded and leaned his head against Jisung's chest. Three crows passed by outside in the rain, their feathers gleaming pitch black.
"And I know you feel the same." Minho mumbled against Jisung's chest.
