My life is perfect. HA! Yeah right! I may be a famous singer and actress but I'm far from rich or have the perfect life. I was born a greaser and I am being raised a greaser. Greasers don't have much money and have to get by with what we have. I'm sorry, I'm being rude. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Taylor Curtis And I'm 13 years old. My parents died in a car accident so My Oldest Brother Darrel who we Call Darry got custody of me and my other two Big Brothers Sodapop And Ponyboy. Yes Sodapop and Ponyboy are really their real names, our dad was an original person. My Brothers And I have a gang that's more like a family. Two-Bit Mathews is the oldest at 18 in a half. His real name is Keith but none of us remember he has an actual name. Two-Bit got his name Two-Bit because he's always making funny remarks and always has to get his Two-Bit's worth in hence the name Two-Bit. Two-Bit likes Blondes, Beer, Mickey Mouse And stealing anything that's not nailed down. I like Two-Bit, he always knows how to make me laugh. The next person we have is Steve Randle at 17. Steve is Sodapop's Best Friend since grade school and they both work together at The DX. Soda works Full time and Steve works part time. Steve is really good and fixing cars and The DX has more business than any other gas stations in Tulsa. Weather it's because Steve's so good at fixing cars Or because Soda draws girls like Honey draws flies I couldn't tell you because I don't know the reason the DX gets alot of business the way they do. Steve loves me but hates Ponyboy and the feeling Is mutual too. Steve always gets annoyed whenever Ponyboy goes somewhere with him and Soda. Steve has a girlfriend named Evie who is one of my best friends. Next we have Dallas 'Dally ' Winston. Dally is 17 And he's been a hood ever since he was 10 years old and got jailed for the first time in New York. Dally used to live in New York and has a reputation for being tough, Tuff, extremely dangerous and cold blooded mean. That's one of the things I love about Dallas Winston. Dally gets arrested and jailed for everything You could possibly imagine! He has a record with the police a mile long which he's extremely proud of and he never stops bragging about. Dallas has an on/off girlfriend named Sylvia who cheats on Dallas whenever he's in jail. Sylvia cheats on Dally with his good friend Tim Shepard, the leader of The Shepard Gang. The Shepard Gang Are Good Friends of ours and Angela Shepard is on of my best friends. Curly Shepard is good friends with Ponyboy. Dally only cares about 3 people and that's Ponyboy, My Boyfriend Johnny Cade And me. If you mess with any off us there will be hell to pay from Dallas Winston. I can gaurentee you ABSOLUTELY DON'T EVER wanna piss off Dallas Winston or there will be serious consequences. Last but not least we have My Boyfriend Johnny Cade. Johnny is 16 and the sweetest person you will ever meet. Johnny is very shy and timid and he has a horrible home life. His father is a drunken abusive basturd And his mother is a drunken bitch. Both Mr. and Mrs. Cade Are HORRIBLE people who should be locked away in jail for child abuse! Mr. Cade always beats Johnny and Mrs. Cade really isn't any better! Mrs. Cade is always screaming at Johnny how worthless he is and how he never should have been born and she always kicks him out of the house and screams at him not to come back. Mrs. and Mr. Cade are always fighting with each other too. You can hear them screaming at each other from clear across the street. The Cade parents are horrible and heartless human beings. Johnny deserves much better than them. Johnny is my Soulmate. Ponyboy and I are the only people who can really bring out a more confident side in Johnny. Johnny, Ponyboy And Dallas Are all 3 best friends and their inseparable. I'm glad Johnny has friends like Ponyboy and Dallas. Now I should probably tell you about my brothers and me. Darry is the oldest at 20. Darry works 2 jobs. During the day he roofs houses and in the evening he works in a werehouse. Darry works hard to keep us all together and he's also really strict with us. If you asked Ponyboy what he thinks of Darry, he'd tell you Darry is bossy and he can't stand Ponyboy. Ponyboy thinks we're both burdens on Darry and Darry would stick us in a Boys and girls home somewhere but Soda won't let him. I think that's a pretty negative way of looking at it. Darry loves us and he works really hard to provide for our family. Darry is Big And Strong And has Big Mussles. Next is Sodapop. Sodapop is 16 and happy go lucky. Soda is movie star Handsome and all the girls have a crush on him. They come to the DX not only to get gas or get there car fixed but they mostly come to flirt with Soda and Soda loves the attention. Soda is always happy and he cheats at Poker. We all know his strategy and call him out for it, something he always denies. Soda likes to tease Darry. Nobody can ever get mad at Soda, its just impossible. Soda has a way about him that gets you smiling no matter what. Soda is a person with an outstanding personality and a big heart. Next we have Ponyboy. Ponyboy is 14 and he's a dreamer. He likes to read, draw and watch sunsets. Ponyboy also loves going to movies and his favorite actor is Paul Newman. Ponyboy's Favorite Book And Movie is Gone With The Wind. Ponyboy is dating My Best Friend And The Soc Cherry Valance. Cherry's not like other Socs. She thinks the rivalry between the Socs and The Greasers is pointless. Cherry once told Ponyboy " things are rough all over "
