"Two days ago At the bourgeois anniversary there was an attack 0 dead 133 injured on top seating, this is nadja signing out" nadja said sadly from the news *Marinette started to wake up from her mini coma and she heard her parents talking and heard a machine and felt a needle in her* " he-ll—o" marinette said slowly "oh marinette" Sabine said crying and hugging marinette "we we're so worried about you honey we thought you wouldn't make it due to your injuries" Tom said crying *marinette started crying as well happy to be alive* "oh my gosh how is Alya and Nino and Luka!?!?" She said jumping up "there fine nino hasn't woken up yet but everyone else is in the hospital awake and fine" Sabine said holding marinette's hand tight "how about adrien??" He is 100% fine he made it I don't know how but he is home fine he visited you couple of times" Tom said giving her a card from adrien *the card read "Hope you get better soon I am thinking about you 24/7 when you wake up let's go for lunch so you can eat something good and not hospital food" love adrien... Marinette blushed and smiled and hugged the card close to her chest* 
                          
1 week later 
"Marinette welcome back!" Her family and friends shouted from the cafe when Sabine opened it *marinette was triggered from the confetti popping sound,Marinette cried and had flashbacks from the attack but remember seeing someone in black carrying her to the hospital* "marinette dear are you okay!?" Sabine said "just take me upstairs" marinette said crying "sorry but our daughter isn't feeling in a party mood" Tom said to the guest *everyone understood and left with silence *
"Marinette I know a lot has happened but a lot has happened to your friends and other people too so be strong like Ladybug" Sabine said giving faith like ladybug had given to the people of France "ok" Marinette smiled and wiped her tears "ok I'll leave you alone for you to rest,love you honey" Sabine said closing the door "marinette it's been weeks since I've seen u" tikki said "tikki!?" Marinette said with tears "I thought I lost you" marinette hugger tikki with her finger "I will always find you because your ladybug" tikki said kissing marinettes forehead.
                          
"Guessing Marinette wasn't in a party mood" Natalie said when adrien entered the mansion "she just isn't ready for the public right now" Adrien said sighing "will since we have no party to intend I can schedule a Chinese lesson right now" Natalie said dialing the phone *Adrien knew this would be another secret lesson with master fu but about Kwamii's and his secrets of his power as Cat noir* "sounds good with me" Adrien said smiling and walked to his room to talk to Plagg "poor marinette she didn't deserve this" Adrien sighed "kid sometimes things happen for a reason" plagg said trying to cheer Adrien up "I wonder where ladybug was there that night?" Adrien said confused and upset "Adrien calm down this wasn't a Akuma attack also she might have been there in her self form and probably ended up hurt  you know just putting it out there" plagg said trying not to put his hopes up "wait your trying to tell me ladybug could have been in civilian form and been attacked so that's why she never came!?" Adrien said with worries "kid I'm just saying that's all" plagg said eating cheese *Nathile entered and plagg disappeared in Adriens shirt* "Adrien your Tutor is here" nathile said "I can take it from here Mrs" Master fu said Bowing *nathile nodded and closed that door* "Hello Adrien and Hello Plagg" Master Fu said taking a seat on the couch "hello Master fu the kid isn't doing well since his friend and ladybug might have been attacked during the attack" plagg said whispering "I see" Master fu said with a sigh "Adrien I know what your going through is hard I do know ladybug was attacked so I need you to pick a person to fight with you while ladybug recovers" Master fu said with a nod of approval "wait me?! I thought ladybug chooses!?" Adrien said with his heart racing   "I think your capable to choose who you can trust Adrien just trust your heart" Master fu said locking Adriens door and taking out the box "wait don't we need ladybug to capture the akuma!?" Adrien said with confusion "Ladybug won't fight but she will be there to capture the akuma but you and the partner that you chose will fight and be her shield" Master fu said trying not to waste time *Adriens eyes widen when he saw the miraculous and thought who he could trust, it clicked* "Marinette!" Adrien said not hesitating with the mouse miraculous.
