I'm almost hesitant to take Sang with me to Kota's; they obviously know each other and as pathetic as it might sound, I'm a little jealous. She probably likes him more than me. I mean, how could she not? Kota's amazing, a perfect gentleman.

I try not to dwell on that, though, not with Sang right here with me, knocking on the door to Kota's house. I smile when I notice the notepad clutched in her left hand, the side opposite from me.

"Coming!" A voice calls from inside, and not a minute later, a small body is opening the door: Jessica. She notices Sang and I and smiles, a small blush on her cheeks. "Oh, hi Nathan. It's nice to see you again, Sang," she grins at the both of us, "come on in."

Sang looks up from her shy, downcast expression and smiles back at Jessica, not seeming to be as shy anymore as her and I enter the house. Jess shuts the door behind us and turns back around to face us, finally noticing Sang's attire and giggles hysterically. "Oh my gosh! What are you wearing?"

"We went swimming and her clothes got a little wet. They're back at mine drying right now."

Peanut looks down bashfully again, her cheeks flushing as she bites her lip, certainly not going unnoticed by me. Her hair falls down to cover her face a little, and I reach my hand out to tuck a piece of hair behind her ear to better see her flawless face. Seriously, how can someone be and look so perfect?

Her eyes flutter up to look up at me, her head lifting only slightly as she looks up at me through her very thick lashes, making my breath catch. It makes it even worse that she doesn't know what she's doing to me, her innocence shining like a beacon of purity and radiance.

A throat is cleared behind us, causing both Sang and I's heads to snap over to find Jeasica looking at us with a sly grin, her arms crossed. "Kota's in his room, by the way. I'll just go; I know when I'm intruding." With that, she turns to walk away, a knowing smirk still on her face. My face flushes slightly.

"Um, come on Sang," I say, grabbing the hand that isn't holding the notepad and leading her up Kota's dark staircase. He really needs to install some lights, or something.

As we near the top, I can finally make out a couple voices, all familiar. I smile when I enter the room to see Kota, Luke, Victor, and Gabriel. "Hey guys!" I greet, making all their heads snap over to me and the petite figure that I only just realized was hiding behind me nervously.

"Hey, Nate! Who the fuck is that? Is it the troublemaker I've been hearing so much about?" Gabe asks, his bright, crystal blue eyes lighting playfully as he tucks one of the locks of blond-dyed hair that frame his face behind his ear to reveal the earrings that line it. I turn around, still holding Sang's hand, the sparks still flying.

She looks terrified, her beautiful, haunted green eyes big with wariness. I cup her cheek in my hand to calm her. "Hey, it's fine. It's just a couple more of our friends. I swear they're nice. Please don't be scared, peanut," I reassure, pleading at her with my eyes to believe me. I hate that she looks like she's about to cry from fear. Her eyes dart back and forth between mine, searching for any false security.

But she soon nods hesitantly, not seeming to find any, which makes me sigh internally in relief. Slipping my hand back into her much smaller one--that seems to fit perfectly in mine, like it was made just for me--I turn around to face four very saddened and confused faces, urging Sang to step out from behind me.

She does, thankfully, and Luke and Gabe's eyes almost bug out of their skulls when they take in the sight. If I didn't play it cool--well, at least I think I did--when I met Sang, I'd probably have looked the exact same. Who am I kidding? I most likely did. I mean, how could you not? She's the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen and I'm positive they feel the same.
