When I explained to Buffy about wanting to be out of the costume, she seemed very over dramatic (In the most loving Buffy Driscoll way possible) and neutral. She said Andi and I wouldn't be friends but I felt that if I explained the situation to her without giving too much away, I bet Andi would be okay with it. Buffy even agreed and said she would get a replacement for me on the costume. This works out great. I just have to figure out how to get this costume going now.
                          
What exactly do I wear for the top of a Salt shaker? Tin foil Chef Hat?  Oh that'll look weird and I am weird enough.
                          
Spray paint a hat silver? Neither set of parents would let me do that. That has extra therapy sessions written all over it. 
                          
Eh, I'll figure it out.
                          
TJ's POV
                          
I came to the park today to work on a new play with some members on the team and it worked out. As we finished up, I said bye to them and started grabbing my stuff. As I was about to leave, Kira comes and says she was looking for me.
                          
She had an idea for a costume which was basketball related. It was nice and all, but I am not giving up what I already committed to with Cyrus. Plus I asked him to switch last minute already. It would be rude to bail.

Though she made fun of our costume for being an inside joke, I told her I was all set with my costume. Based on her expression, I could tell she was not taking this well.
                          
"So you'd rather do a costume with Cyrus than with me? Okay. Have fun with that" Kira said as she got off the bench and left.
                          
I wanted to say "Of course I would. Not only has he been there for me for a long time, He is an amazing person who doesn't needs to be stressed out switching costumes 20 times...Plus I just met you. I also have a crush on him. You were never going to win this."
                          
But I just looked at her as she walked away. She seemed to be so off with Cyrus and now me.
                          
What was this girl up to?
                          
*Later that night*
                          
Kira tried to convince me all day to switch and though some of her words made me think twice, I was not going to bail. It wasn't because I felt guilty or anything. It's cause I wanted to do a costume with Cyrus. Why is it weird that two boys would do a costume together? Who cares if it was an inside joke? We know what it means to us and though the meaning might be on two different levels for us, it still means something. I'm going through with this. Sorry Kira. 
                          
*Costume Day*
                          
I showed up to school in my board shorts, sun glasses and flip flops. I saw Kira when I got there from a distance talking to her friends. She had on a white shirt that said dribble on it. She holds up a one with her index finger, looks through her backpack and held up the other half of the costume and gave me a look with one eyebrow. She was a giving me a "This is your last chance look"  but before I could even fully process a respond to her, I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see Cyrus. 
                          
He was in all white, had a black S on his shirt and had a colander on his head. Awesome. We hugged and talked about how awesome the costume was. 
                          
Cyrus' POV
                          
Andi, Buffy, Marty and Jonah all came over in their Mt. Rushmore costume and it was awesome. It was going to make the yearbook for sure. Once we got in line for the pictures, TJ and I had an awesome time doing different and silly poses. We loved them and then got to watch Mt.Rushmore do their thing. Everyone loved the somersault idea once they got it and it was awesome. I thanked TJ for letting me be a apart of his costume. He said he wouldn't have it any other way no matter how hard someone tried. We both looked over to Kira who was glaring at us.
                          
Geez, some people really try to mess with destiny but if it was meant to be, no matter what anyone else does, it will work out in the end.

I was just hoping this hiatius would end soon so I rewatched S3E13 again, wished it ended better and now here I am with a one shot.
