"I'm glad to see you again, Blondie." Matty welcomed us when we entranced our war room. "Mac!" Jack hugged him tight. "Hey buddy." Mac sat down on the sofa and grabbed a few paperclips out of the bowl. We started the debriefing and I started explaining everything to Matty, even though she watched everything through the security cams: "So, Riley hacked into the security system and I got in as an officer. They scheduled me to interrogate Mac after, you know, after he got... Uhm... After he got..." "Tortured." Mac added. He smiled at me and told me to go on. "So I first gave him a paperclip, just to make sure that he knows that it's me. The second time I gave him the pill. Mac took it in his cell, hopefully you took my message out?" I asked and he nodded. "Then I got a call to get him out and into an ambulance. Riley drove and we injected him the first alexipharmic. He was out a while, but he awaked out his unconsciousness when we reached the airport. Mac fell asleep on the plane and woke up again when we landed at LAX."
After the debriefing I drove home with Mac. Bozer stayed at Phoenix to work at his newest prosthetic for an undercover agent and we were alone. We tried to cook us dinner, but it was uneatable, so we ordered pizza. After we ate, we both laid on the sofa. "Thanks for saving my ass in Siberia. I was afraid that I would give up if they continued their... Interrogation techniques." Why is he thanking me? That was nothing. "Mac, I couldn't live without you. Please promise me, that you will never give up. I love you." He hugged me tight and mumbled: "I promise."I woke up with a delicious smell. Bozer cooked again his genius pancakes, so I wandered in the kitchen. "Morning, Boze." He placed a plate with a stack of his masterpieces in my hands: "Good morning, sleepyhead. Wake Mac up, he should eat something." He smiled and pushed me back into the living room. I sat down to Mac and he instantly woke up. "Morning. Can I also have some of them?" I gave him my plate and stood up to get another one. Suddenly I heard a big boom at the front door. Everywhere was fog and I couldn't breathe normally. Then my legs collapsed and I fell on the ground.
Mac's point of view
There was an explosion at the front door and suddenly everything was foggy. My lungs couldn't get enough oxygen and everything went black...
"Luce? Boze? Are you here?" I asked into the darkness, I laid on the floor, my hands were tied together. "Mac?" Bozer shouted back to me. A wave of security flood over me, but then it hit me: "Where is Lucy?" Bozer stayed quiet, he also didn't knew where she were, she wasn't in here for sure. The wheels in my head started spinning again. If Lucy wasn't in here, where was she? Was she the target of the Kidnapping? Or were we three separated and she was still in my, in our, house? "Luce?" I shouted again. No response. "Mac, she isn't here." Bozer just said the things I already knew, but it was hard for me to hear this. I couldn't protect my girl. Again. I am such a bad boyfriend, she went through a lot just because she met me and I was almost never able to protect her. I had to get out of here. "Boze? Can you reach my pocket knife in the back pocket of my jeans?" He robbed over and laid his full weight on my back. "Mac? You don't even have a back pocket." I still wear my jogging pants and my pocket knife is home, next to the couch. "So we have to get us out of here without my knife. Boze? Try to sit upright and lay your back on mine. When I count on three, we push us up at the other ones back. Ok?" I felt his nod and we tried to sit upright. After a while I felt his back in mine and started counting. "One, two-" "I wouldn't do this if I were you." The door flew open and a young man with light blonde hair entered. As I spotted something behind him, I froze. "Luce." My brain stopped working for a moment, but her beautiful golden eyes caught my face. "Mac?" Her voice was almost nothing, not the powerful and strong one I know. What has this man done to her? "Let her go!" I screamed out, but suddenly my lights went black.A few hours ago
Lucy's point of view
I woke up in a nice living room. The TV was on and I heard someone in the kitchen. I got up and walked towards this someone: "Hello Lucy. I'm glad that you are awake. Could you hand me the noodles? They are in the left cupboard." Who was this? He is talking like he is my friend and not the man who kidnapped me. I handed him the spaghetti and waited for him at the table. "Who are you?" I asked him, as he placed the pot with the noodles and another one with tomato sauce on the table. "I'm Alec. Don't you recognize me?" I couldn't remember someone like him with the light blond hair, the remarkable blue eyes and eyebrows in a similar color like mine. "No, I don't. Who are you?" His blue eyes looked like my mothers ones, they reminded me of her. "You don't? Mom and Dad have never told you anything about me?" His face went dark and I could see little tears in his eyes. Wait, what? Why is he telling me something about parents, like we are siblings? He sat down and told me to eat with him. He filled our plates and I have to admit, that this were the best spaghetti in my entire life. "That's so delicious... Thanks." We looked each other in the eyes and I felt something cozy and familiar in our look. If he was my kidnapper, he was one of the best ones. "So Lucy, I hope you don't mind the kidnapping thing... It was necessary to talk with you alone." I stayed quiet, but inside I wasn't even mad at him. "So, Alec. Why are we here?" I asked him, and he came over to me. Suddenly I needed to hug him, no idea why. First he froze, but then he hugged me too. This wasn't one of the hugs like Mac and I have, it's more like one between Jack and Riley. He led me into his living room and I sat on his couch. He turned the TV off and faced me again: "So, Lucy, I have to tell you something. Something important. Please don't interrupt me while I explain everything, but when I told you the whole story you can ask me everything you want. Ok?" I nodded, curious but also worried about what will come next.
"So... I really don't know how to start... Uhm..." he blushed and looked nervous. "Hey. Alec, everything is fine. Just tell me." I tried to calm him and he started again.
"So, have you ever had the feeling that something was missing in your life? Like a tile was not there? Well, my childhood wasn't really good, my parents exposed me when I was still a toddler. A worker found me on this landfill and brought me to a children's home. The life in there wasn't really good and the younger kids got bullied, Butler had food and a place to sleep. When I grew older, I ran away a few times and my last one was successful. First I lived on the streets, but then a man spotted me and recruited me. He taught me almost everything I know, but almost two years ago he passed away. Since then I tried to find my family." He smiled at me. "So I broke into the data bank of the states and looked for matching DNA test from citizens. I found out that my dad was at the army, his name was Lucas Brown." I froze and looked at him like a missing tile. "Lucy, I am your brother."———————————————————————————
