at Mt. Olympus
"Brother we are getting old." Poseidon said. " Even Hecate is getting sick, no doubt the work of Gaea as a parting gift."
The gods were in consul deciding on whether to retire or continue as the Olympians. They were thinking about this idea after the giant war and still trying to come up with a decision.
"I know but what can we do? There are no gods or goddesses worthy of becoming the Olympians." Zeus replied.
"For once Father, you are right. But think beyond the gods." Athena replied.
"The nature spirts? I don't think there cutout for the job."
"Shut up Apollo let her finish."
"Thank you Artemis. As I was saying, what about our children, my daughter and her friends."
Poseidon snorted, "For once Bird Brain has a good idea."
"Shut up Sea Scum, could you come up with a better one."
Zeus pondered this for a moment. "That is a good idea, but they are not educated."
"Then send them to high school. If each god says who they want as their successor and we send them to school, they would be ready."
"Let's have a vote. All in favor say "Ay" those against say "Ni." Athena decided.
A chorus of "Ays" rang out without a single "Ni" in the mix.
"Then it is decided. Think about who you want as your successor and we will reconvene tomorrow to cast our votes." Zeus finalized dismissing everyone.
the next day
The gods all cast there votes which were read in front of the council.

"Tell Chiron of the news of the demigods going to highschool. Remember to keep all demigods close but not at the same school for fear of monsters," Zeus proclaimed, "and hope the mist will hold out until the demigods are done with their studies."
