Banter and a firty widow or at least as flirty as a emotionless killing machine gets.

Narrator POV:

The deadlock gang and Talon made a deal during the past week, both sides agreed to help each other put out the flame of the new Overwatch once and for all. Of course, the gang needed a bit of convincing. Calamity Ashe got her fair share of money out of Talon leaders to join their forces, providing stolen weapons and other bits of intel. She felt a bit of confidence over her victory, knowing that if she had gone any hire in her bargain Talon would back out of the deal. And with the deal means dealing with new people working with Talon. Ashe knew of Doomfist and Maximillon, but the Talon Agent coming in her office with the suitcase of cash looked almost unworldly.

Her skin was periwinkle, her eyes golden, and her hair in a slick ponytail that went down to her thigh. The outfit she wore was tight and fitted, showing some cleavage down the middle. Her whole appearance looked creepy, yet somehow attractive to Ashe's blood red eyes.

"I have your money," the Talon Agent glaring daggers into her, "As well as the contract for the arrangement." Ashe pulled up her leather chair closer to her wooden desk as the woman slides the paper onto the desk, the suitcase is place right beside it with a thud. Ashe's hands immediately went to opening the suitcase before the woman pulls out a sniper gun and pushes Ashe's eager hands away.

"The contract must be signed first. Then, you can open the suitcase."

Ashe folded her hands together, looking up at the woman to get a good look at her expression. The woman's poker face was incredible, not a single flinch from her. Tilting her head, she asked the woman, "How else would I know if you're lying to me,miss-"

"Widowmaker." The woman corrected.

"Widowmaker. I think we can both understand where I'm coming from when I say I don't trust your terrorist organization. I mean- Who would trust a terrorist organization? So, all I want is to ensure the money I was promised is still in there."

"Really? Well, I could say the same for you. A gang of thieves, no direction or real power. If I were to open the case, who says that you wouldn't take the money and shot me where I'm standing? So, yes. I think we both understand our lack of trust in one another."

Their eyes look deep into each other, as if they were trying to manipulate the other's minds. The more Ashe looked deep into Widowmaker's cold stare, she could feel her blood rushing to her cheeks.

Ashe scoffs, "You make a good argument." Her hand grabs a black pen and she signs her name onto the contract. She moves the paper towards  Widowmaker for her to see.

"You have nice handwriting." Her pink lips form a slight grin as she glances at Ashe.

"Thank you but I believe we had a deal?" Ashe uses her pen to point at the closed suitcase.

Widowmaker swiftly opens up the suitcase, revealing the money that was promised. Ashe took a stack of the money and looked through it thoroughly. "For a terrorist organization, you sure do keep your promises."

The Widow chuckles, "Never judge a book by it's cover." Grabbing the signed contract off the table, she walked towards the door ever so slowly.

Ashe didn't know why, but she wanted to know more about this Widowmaker. Appearances aside, her overall attitude and clever wordplay attracted her. She couldn't stop herself from asking the question.

"Do you want to stop by for drinks later?" The Widow turned around, looking surprised at her question. Anxiety started to engulf Ashe's brain. She was never good at flirting, or that good with people. Mentally, she prayed Windowmaker would say yes.

"As long at it's wine. I'll be here at 6:30." Widowmaker blew a kiss towards Ashe as the door shut behind her.

The end.
