The pack had been walking towards the warehouse. They couldn't bring the jeep or any other vehicles as it would have brought in too much attention. Instead, they decided to walk over there where not too much noise would be brought in. The pack had been somewhat separated into groups. Mason and Corey had stayed behind at Deaton's place so they can help Deaton come up mix new ingredients against Monroe. Liam was walking alongside Stiles and Derek. The three were discussing possible ways of approaching Monroe. Lydia and Allison were off in their own world, catching up with the other, and Scott and Kira were catching up as well. Malia decided to lag behind the rest of them.

She didn't want to admit it, but she was slightly jealous of the two girls. They were both Scott's loves before Malia came into the picture. Had either girl stayed, things would have been different. Which scared her. Did she and Scott just get together because she was the only other girl available? Was she just a rebound? The more she thought about it, the more she realized how similar Allison and Kira were. Both strong girls who held some sort of weapon. In High School, both girls were the new girls in school. Both were sweet and constantly smiling. They both knew how to take care of themselves. She was nothing like them. Her first instinct is to kill, she's blunt, and she was naive. She could barely take care of herself. She bet they would probably be a good mom.

Malia sighed and thought back to her and Scott's conversation. More proof that she wasn't a girl Scott would want. She watched Scott and Kira from afar. They two had been laughing about something. Scott had this look in his eyes. She knew that look. That was the look that he would give her. Scott cleared his throat and looked down at the ground. It was something he always did when he was nervous, especially when he was around girls, well at least her. Scott looked back and made eye contact with her. She continued to look at him, before he quickly glanced away from her, almost as if he felt guilty about something. Guilty that his feelings for Kira never left. Malia sighed and looked down at the ground, unable to look up at her boyfriend and his ex talking.

Scott and Kira were walking side by side slightly ahead of the group. Kira smiled at the ground as she folded her arms.

" So, you and Malia?" Scott nodded and glanced at her sideways.

" Yeah, we didn't get together right after me and you-" Kira shook her head.

" It's okay, Scott. It's not like I was going to expect you to wait for me. I mean what were the chances that I would ever come back?" Scott nodded and Kira turned around to see Malia looking down at the ground as she walked, deep in thought. " You know, now that I think about it, it kind of makes sense." Scott smiled at Kira.

" Yeah, it kind of does." Scott furrowed his eyebrows as he continued to smile. " She's different, you know. In a good way." Kira nodded as Scott continued. " She gets me. She knows what's it's like to be a wolf, even though she's a coyote. She's always there for me. Even at my worst. I know that she wouldn't leave me. When we're fighting off hunters, she's always by my side, ready to fight. When tragedy strikes, she's there too. That's what I love about her." Scott chuckled as he got lost in thought. Kira smiled at him. " It's the little things too. Whenever we're watching movies and she falls asleep, she always holds my hand as if to make sure I'm still there. She can't even cook, but she tries to after I come home really late or had a rough day. The food usually ends up burnt and we order something instead, but I still love coming home to the smell of burnt cookies." Kira laughed while Scott chuckled as he looked at her. He smiled at himself as he thought back to Malia and her laugh. He adored that laugh. Kira looked over at him and tilted her head.

" So? You plan on taking the relationship to the next level?" Scott cleared his throat and looked down at the ground.

" Yeah, I've sort of been planning to." He glance back and saw Malia staring at him. Shoot. She probably overheard the conversation. He quickly glanced away from her. He didn't want her to know that he was talking about her. Kira chuckled.
