Breaking Apart.

                                    

                                          
Arson took a day off from his job. He asked God to ask someone else to do it because he wanted to take a break. He stayed at his fort. He was sitting alone in a big room holding a pen and a blank piece of paper in front of him. He was thinking about Rainn. His hands were on his face, leaned back on the chair. He was staring at the ceiling. He leaned forward, looked at the page. He wrote a few words on the paper. ‘Rainn became my family.’ To express how Rainn is feeling, she wrote a poem for Arson to understand her Better.
                          
“You're always in my dreams,
Like snow upon a stream,
Like angels who love to sing.
I watched you steal my broken heart.
As I watched,
I saw you mend it back together.
___
I was always cold before I met you,
Then I felt your soft, warm skin against mine.
Every time I feel warm, I think of you.
When I hear from you my heart skips a beat.
Just yesterday it was skipping every other beat,
So how come it's not now?
I take your hand in mine,
I place my lips on yours.
I'll always be with you.
___
My world was dark and dismal,
Then I saw you,
Bringing light and joy to my world…”

                          
He didn't move a muscle and the day passed by. He stood up and got changed. He was going to confess his feelings to Rainn. He knew that it will create a big mess. It might create tension between Rainn and Sara but he did not want to hide his feelings. He went to mortal land early that day. He was waiting for Rainn. He saw kids mocking an angel. He figured out that it was Rainn. He ran towards her and hugged her tightly. He didn't wait for another second and told her that he loves her and she has become his family now. Rainn was flustered with this. It was a proposal. He told him that she loves him too but she can't date him because she has Sara. But she can still become part of her family. They both started being part of the family. Later on that day, he comes to know that there were some fights going on between them. This was making Rainn sad. He talked with Sara. Sara confessed that she has feelings for Rainn. He told her that he loves both of them. They are like family to him. He told Sara how important Rainn's smile is for him. Sara decided to make-up the things between her and Rainn so, she proposed Rainn. Rainn was really happy after getting proposed. Arson was happy to see her happy. He came back home that day. A few days passed by. Rainn was very happy with everything happened. Sara started to spend more time with them. Arson was very happy because things were getting better. Eutychia was always worried about Arson. She thought that he will try to kill himself again for not being able to help someone. That's why she asked him to promise her that he will keep a distance from depressed people and will focus on the betterment of himself. He made an unbreakable pack with Eutychia. 
                          
“I, Arson, the demon, hereby promise Eutychia, the goddess of happiness that  I,’l focus on bettering myself and I will worry less and live more.”
                          
God couldn't see them happier. It was him or someone else who hated them, no one knows but things started to get complicated when they were getting better. One day, Sara didn't come to mortal land but her mother did. Arson could see the resemblance between her and Sara's face. She told both of them, Arson and Rainn to stay away from her daughter as she got a very nice boyfriend for herself. It was a terrible shock for Rainn. She wasn't believing in that. She was denying that it's the truth. She would not believe it even if God tells her that. Only Sara's word coming from her own mouth would make her believe in it. Sara was nowhere to be seen that day. She came to the mortal land the next day in a disguise. Her face was covered, and she had colored her hairs blue. She told us that her mother had posted some restrictions on her. That wasn't the thing Arson was worried about. He asked her directly if she got herself a boyfriend or not. She didn't reply about getting a boyfriend. This broke Rainn down totally. Her heart was smashed. Arson was completely speechless. He gave her blessings for her new relationship and took Rainn away from her. He could totally see the pain in her eyes. She was trembling with pain. Her voice was totally shaken. Arson was afraid to leave her alone. He knew that if he left her, she will start hurting herself. This time he won't get angry because he was able to understand her pain and her urge. Arson had to go back to her home. She was still shaken. Her halo turned into dust. Small particles of dust rounded up now to make a halo on her face. Rainn's willingness to see other people happy and the way she helped people was keeping her halo alive. Things got really tough now. Arson saw her breaking in front of himself. He started to hate Sara. On the other hand, Sara was trying to get back to those two. She believed that if she explained her situation, they will forgive her. It was clear that Arson didn't want to get back to Sara, neither he wanted Rainn to get back to her. She knew how much Rainn loved her but she still did that with her. She was herself broken and hurt because her ex-boyfriend left her but she did the same thing with Rainn. “We become like the person we hate the most.” It was said by a saint, urging people to forgive their enemies and not hold any grudge against them. Arson had a hard time understanding that but this made him believe that what he said was the truth. Sara, who was crying because her ex-boyfriend left her for someone else, left the girl who loved the most in the whole world for a guy. Arson started to ignore Sara. He tried to keep Rainn away from her as well. He didn't want Sara to give any explanation to Rainn. It would only hurt her more. Rainn saw her world completely falling apart. Everyone left her but the Demon. Arson stayed by her side. She started to get insecure. She thought that Arson will leave her too if she does anything bad. If she does something that Arson hates, he might leave her, making her all alone. She wanted to stop cutting herself so that she doesn't make him angry again. She was thinking about ways to stop herself. But the situation was not supporting her. Life was trying her best to break her down. 
                          
One day Rainn just arrived at her home when she saw her mother about to kill herself. She stopped her but she didn't know what happened to her. They never talked to each other very well. Because of her depression, Rainn always thought that her mother hates her. Her mind made her believe that it was true. That's one of the illusions her mind creates when we get depression. She was living that illusion. She stopped her but she didn't have enough courage to ask her about things that happened. She stayed there for a while. Next day when she met Arson, she told him everything about it. She cried a bit. Even though she believed that her mom hates her, she loved her a lot. Arson told her to hug her mother and tell her how much she loves her once she gets back home. People may not think it very important but someone saying “I love you” to them can help them to get out of depression. He didn’t know her mother’s problem. But he was thinking of different reasons and telling her to act according to them. Things were getting rough day by day.  People bullying Rainn on the road was also increased. Rainn was trying her best to stay strong and not to cut herself or harm herself in any way. Arson knew that things are getting rough and it will be hard for Rainn. The things she went through will create a lot of emotional instability. Rainn hurt herself when she is getting emotionally unstable. Rainn wanted to share her feelings with Arson but she didn't know how to do it so, she wrote a poem. 
                          
“the voice that nags me,
nags me not to cut.
I want to listen,
I really do.
                          
I promised so many,
That I wouldn't cut.
I want to keep it,
I really do.
                          
when I look at you I see you care,
i see you want to help,
but when will I learn
when will I give up these habits?
I keep running the same dull blade, drawing blood.
I keep saying I'm fine.
                          
my heart's split in two one is with you and the other's gone.
                          
all these things,
all these things are drowning me.
deeper into darkness.
Please help.” 


                          
The physical pain she causes to herself is just to distract herself from the pain of her broken heart. Arson was shocked to see the fight she was giving against all her pain and the efforts she was doing not to hurt herself. Rainn was fighting with her depression because she knew about the promise he made with Eutychia. She didn't want him to break his promise or leave her. She had to come out of depression to stay friends with him. He was very happy to see her this way. Toughened up, fighting with her problems. Arson was proud of her.
