Chapter 49- New Guardian and new Dragonballs?!

                                    

                                          
Some time had passed and Sibella's 24 hours were coming to a close, she had mastered her Super Saiyan Transformation and through a lot of blood and sweat even managed the miracle of ascending her Super Saiyan power.
 However she was aware this transformation would not suffice to beating Cell, but hopefully what she had learned would be enough for her to try her best in the fight. 
 In trying what Goku and Gohan had been doing- staying in SSJ form- she did struggle with it, and as her time was nearing, she would have to continue her training outside like them.
 But to start, she decided to return to her normal form, and pick up after getting settled back in.
                          
With an hour to spare she decided to eat a quick meal, as she did however there was a kick on the door, and she could tell it was Vegeta. 
                          
"He's so impatient" she sighed. 

 After eating she opened the door and saw Mr Popo, Vegeta, Piccolo and Trunks standing there.
 Trunks was slightly shaking as he could tell there was something different about her.

 "Well it's about time, now move out my way" Vegeta said. 

 Sibella narrowed her eyes and proceeded to walk out quietly and calmly, as she did Vegeta walked past her and made his way towards the door.
                          
"That's funny, you haven't changed at all, what were you doing in there, taking a nap" Vegeta smugly said then closed the door behind him.
 "God he can be such a dick" Sibella sighed. 

 Trunks then walked closer towards Sibella and simply stared at her.

 "What...what is it?" she asked, confused. 
 "Something is different, but I just I can't tell, but I know enough that you've gotten stronger" he responded. 

 Sibella smiled and placed a finger under his chin. 

 "I finally am" she said, then took to the sky heading back to CC. 
                          
Not long after her arrival did, she go to her room, have a hot bath and change into fresh clothes. 

 "I wonder what Bulma is up to" Sibella pondered.

 She then began to wander through CC and bumped into Dr Briefs.

 "Oh, hello Sir, where is Bulma?" Sibella asked. 
 "Oh uh, she's in the lab tending to Android #16" he explained. 
 "I'm sorry, I may have miss-heard you" she said in disbelief. 
 "You better see her, and she'll explain" he added. 
 "I think I shall" Sibella said and took off running to the lab. 
                          
Sibella almost burst in, scaring Bulma who was at the Super Computer looking at schematics.

 "Bulma, what is going on here?" Sibella demanded. 
 "Oh, you're back, great, we're run out of deserts" Bulma responded. 
 "Bulma, answer me, I mean, what's going on, I've only been gone a year- I mean 24 hours"
 "Well #16 is joining us in the fight against Cell, but he was pretty beat up so I'm giving him an upgrade" Bulma explained. 
 "Oh, well that's great, good on you. I hope it goes well, let me know if you need anything- hey, what's happening on the TV?" Sibella asked, confused. 
 "A ton of military people are on their way to try and kill Cell" Bulma explained. 

 Sibella's eyes widened in surprise, those poor humans were going straight to their deaths.

 "This is not good, those people will be killed" Sibella realised.

 But what could she or anyone do, the humans wouldn't listen and no doubt that Cell, well he would just do what he had been doing the whole time, it was obvious he would simply just kill them all. 
                          
"I'll be back" Sibella said and made for the door.
 "Where are you going?!" she yelled. 
 "Kami's lookout" Sibella responded and ran outside, taking to the sky immediately. 
                          
Not long after her arrival did, she see; Trunks, Piccolo and Mr Popo were still there.
 However- and oddly- so was Kakarott.

 "Kakarott" Sibella called out. 
 "Sibella, there you are, wow you're stronger- in fact, are you...?" he trailed off.

 Sibella said nothing and smiled looking down sheepishly. 
 Goku said no more and smiled and nodded back.
                          
"Why did you come up here?" Piccolo asked.  
 "Well I was just thinking, you can spit yourself again, so it's you and Kami?" Goku asked. 
 "What?" Piccolo responded. 
 "See, with Kami gone, all the Dragonballs have disappeared, but we really need a wish from the Dragon" Goku began to explain.
 "A wish to do what?" Sibella asked.
 "We need to wish for all the people Cell killed to be brought back to life, I mean every single one of them. It's the only way for us to make up for letting Cell come this far" Goku expressed.
 "Sorry Goku I can't, once two Nameks have fused together, they can never split apart, that's why I was so hesitant to join with Kami in the first place. It was permanent deal"
 "Too bad, cause I was really hoping- wait Gohan told me all the Nameks went to live on a new planet somewhere, what if I go there, and see if any of them would want to be our new guardian for Earth, that way we'll have a new set of Dragonballs?" Goku suggested. 

 Piccolo however seemed a little worried and hesitant at the idea.
                          
"I would just love to have a new Guardian to keep me company" Mr Popo enthused.
 "but you don't have the time to be doing this- you don't even know what planet they are living on" Piccolo realised.

 Goku then explained how using his instant transmission he would be able to try and find people with the same energy pattern as Piccolo.
 For a few minutes, Goku had stood there trying to focus on the Namekians, but sadly it did not work.
 Instead he had a new plan to go to King Kai's planet and try searching from here.

 "So you think he'll do it?" Trunks asked. 
 "I don't think we should rely on it if that's what you mean" Piccolo responded, shaking his head. 
 "So, all those humans are dead already, I heard about it on the news back at CC" Sibella responded. 
 "Those poor people" Trunks added. 

 Sibella then began wandering around, she then decided to practice some kicks and punches.

 "You've gotten faster" Trunks gasped. 
 "You have no idea" Sibella winked.

 Not long into her practice did she have to stop, upon Goku having returned with a Namekian child, Sibella turned and smiled as she saw it was Dende, the little boy she met and tried to save on Namek.
 Sibella then walked over and the little Namek looked at her confused. 

 "I...I know you, you're that woman who tried to save me from Frieza" he expressed and hugged her legs.
 "I am, and it's great to see you again Dende, how have you been?" she asked. 
 "I've been good"
 "Is he our new guardian?" Mr Popo asked. 
 "Are you sure it's not too much for him, he's just a boy" Piccolo asked. 
 "Don't be too overprotective, I'm sure he has what it takes to do this" Sibella responded.
 "I'll be right back Dende, I'm gonna get Gohan" Goku said and vanished. 

 In no time, he was back with both Krillin and Gohan in hand, and as soon as Dende saw them, they all ran to embrace and greet each other with extreme happiness. 

 "So, is it true, you're gonna take over Kami's position?" Gohan asked. 
 "Yeah, I think so" Dende responded a little nervously. 
 "Dende, are you certain you know how to handle the Dragonballs?" Piccolo pressured.

 Goku defended the young Namekian explaining how the Namek's elder said Dende was a talented young boy and would be a wonderful fit as guardian for Earth. 
                          
"I'm pretty sure I'll be able to make new Dragonballs in 100 days" Dende explained.
 "But we can't wait that long" Goku panicked. 
 "Hold on, if you still have the old Dragonballs and the model of the Dragon, then I'll should be able to do it right away!" the little one enthused. 

 However the Dragonballs were scattered around the Earth in stone form, but Mr Popo did have a model of the Dragon.
 It was then that Goku and Piccolo began asking what powers they would infuse the Dragon with, of which it was decided that the Dragon would be able to grant only 2 wishes, but still have enough power to bring back all those killed by Cell.
 Mr Popo ran to get the model and handed it to Dende, who placed it on the floor and began the process. He chanted over the model and from his fingers emerged gold streaks of light that wrapped around the model, causing it to glow a bright white light, which shot up into the sky and split into 7 other beams of white light. It appeared that they were travelling to each of the Dragonballs to revive them. 

 "It's all done, the Dragon can be summoned as soon as all the Dragonballs have been collected" Dende explained.
 "Already?" Goku said in disbelief. 
 "Awesome" Krillin expressed. 
 "So fast!" Gohan added.
 "Now, I'll borrow Bulma's Dragonball radar and get them right away, hey Gohan why don't you stay here with Dende and hang out until the tournament begins" Goku suggested.
 "Are you sure dad?" Gohan asked. 
 "Yeah, just have fun" Goku smiled at his son.

 Trunks however stepped forward and stopped Goku from walking away.

 "Goku, is it because you found a weakness to defeating Cell which is why you're acting so confident, isn't it?" Trunks asked. 
 "I'm afraid Cell doesn't have a weak point" Goku responded. 

 Trunks face was in complete disbelief, but before asking Goku anymore questions, he just vanished to get the radar. 
 While Goku was gone everyone had began to speculate what was wrong with Goku's attitude, if there was no way to kill Cell, why was he so confident about everything. Even Gohan was confused, especially when he expressed that each time, he asked Goku what they should do he simply said that they shouldn't worry.
 Not very reassuring to say the least. 
                          
But the would have to wait till the tournament at this rate, and it was only a few days away now.
