It had been about a week since Jyugo and I's first date. We actually decided to date and we've hit it off really well. This was probably the first relationship I'd ever been in, and I was really nervous. But Jyugo was a mess. Most of the time, I could just hold his hand or kiss his cheek and he would get so flustered. It didn't even have to be near other people
I loved Jyugo, and he loved me, we were just an awkward couple.
"Morning Jyugo." I smiled at Jyugo as I stretched my back and yawned.
"Mooorrning." Jyugo said, a mix of grumbles and actual words.
I rolled my eyes at my tired baby, and bent down to kiss his forehead. He lightly blushed and smiled at me.
"Can I go back to sleep now?" He asked.
"Not if you want breakfast." I giggled.
At the word 'breakfast', Rock jumped out of bed, ready for food.
"Did someone say breakfast?!" Rock yelled as he ran to the cell door, trying to open it.
"Rock, we have to wait until Hajime comes to get us." I said. We weren't technically allowed out of our cell until Hajime told us we were allowed. But Jyugo could easily fix that. Jyugo pushed himself up, and slowly walked over to the door to unlock it. In the blink of an eye, it was open and all of us were making our way to the kitchen.
I held Jyugo's hand as we walked there. Uno was still a little bit stunned over the fact that Jyugo had gotten a girlfriend. But I didn't find it hard to believe. I loved his eyes, they were two beautiful colours and his hair looked so soft. How could someone not love that?
We somehow managed to sit at a table without getting caught by any guards, but then again we didn't really care. We sat down and about 5 minutes later the rest of the prisoners came piling in for food. We got our food and talked about literally nothing interesting the entire time.
"You know, I'm glad Shiro works here," Rock said with his mouth full of food "but why would you want to come back here if you just got out of this hell hole?"
Jyugo just shrugged, "Well, he probably didn't know what he wanted to do once he got out, and he would've known the workers here. Easy employment."
"Do you guys have any plans once you get out?" I asked taking a bite of my food.
"I don't plan on leaving." Rock replied.
"Same. I'll only leave if all of my friends do to!" Nico said.
"But all of the ladies!!! Uno yelled sadly.
I laughed at Uno's stupidity. "What are you gonna do, Jyugo?" I asked.
"Stay here my entire life, unless...uh never mind." He answered.
"Wow, you guys are so different from me, I'd love to get out of prison and just live a normal life. Get a job, fall in love, buy a house and have a family. It seems like the perfect life." I stared into space for a little bit, imagine the life I could have had if it hadn't of been so stupid.
I don't know why I did these things. One moment I was at home, then next I was vandalising buildings, stealing and taking drugs. Who even convinced me to do that? I was so smart before, then I became a fucking idiot!
Without realising it, I had tears running down my pink cheeks. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to look at Jyugo. He pulled me into his chest and hugged me. I wiped my eyes, and sat back up, turning towards the exit.
"Sorry, I don't know what happened. I'm gonna go get some air." I got up and left to the roof.
I lied down on the ground and put my arms behind my head. I closed my eyes trying to calm myself down, when I heard the rooftop door open. I looked up to see Jyugo walking over to me quietly.
I sat up again, and he took a seat next to me. He placed an arm around my shoulder and lightly kissed my cheek.
"What's wrong? Why did you leave so suddenly?" Jyugo asked.
"I just needed some air, that's all." I said quietly, "I don't know what happened, I just felt guilty."
"Guilty for what, you did nothing wrong."
"I just felt like my life could have gone so much better if I had just been responsible." I looked down and startled to fiddle with my clothing. "How different my life could have been if I wasn't so stupid..."
"You're not stupid. People make mistakes, and some mistakes make you a better person. You did something wrong, so did everyone else here, you're just like the rest of us, and we all love you, no matter what you did."Jyugo smiled, "You're still our (y/n).
"I love you Jyugo."
"I love you too (y/n), and I promise as soon as I'm out of jail, I'll stay with you.'
