Jess's POV

I walked with my Grand Daddy as we approached a large red door. I reached for the handle and opened it. As we walked inside I looked around we entered another hallway but this hallway was full of my memories and I could physically see them. Each and every memory floating above me until we got to the end of the hall. There were two doors a white one and a blue one. Grand Daddy reached for the white one first and opened the door.
"This is what will happen if you never wake up." My Grand Daddy said as we looked down at the hospital room I was in. Hayes was sitting beside the bed in the clothes he wore the first day he came. He looks as if he hasn't moved since I went into the hospital fixed to the seat as if it was his home.
"Has he eaten?" I asked know Grand Daddy would know
"Very little. He hasn't moved ever since you fell into a coma he always felt the need to be there when you woke up. But he's slowly giving up. Let me remind you this is 2 weeks into the future." He explained. I instantly felt bad its my fault I'm in a coma. Ugh I really hate myself. As I continued to watch I saw all the boys walk in as Grand Daddy brought us into the room so we could hear what's going on.
"If she doesn't wake up in a week we will have to take her off life support and she won't survive if she even had a chance." The doctor told the boys as they all had tears streaming down their faces.
"I'm here! I'm right here!" I cried knowing they wouldn't hear me but it was worth a shot. We soon weren't in the hospital but in a bedroom. Lizzie's bedroom.
"You were Lizzie's only friend. Now that she thinks she lost you she hasn't come out of her room or interacted with anybody. Her parents don't know what's wrong but she has fallen under depression and the only thing that brings a small smile to her face is picture of you and her. The boys have texted and called her but she won't answer. You broke down her walls and now that you are "gone" she built her walls up again." Grand Daddy told me and once he did I knew what I needed to do I don't need to see the positives I want to go back no matter what I need to go back.
"I've made my decision." I said determined
"Are you sure we hav-"
"I'm sure I want to go back please I want to remember everything I forgot. Please just let me go back. I beg of you." I begged cutting him off
"If you must. Now close you eyes and count backwards by three."
I counted backward and once I finished a sat up coughing. I opened my eyes and looked around.
"Hayes?"
"JESS!" Hayes rushed up to me from the chair e was once fixed to and hugged me
"I missed you so much Jess my life felt so incomplete without you."
"It's only been a few hours Hayes."
"Um Jess it's been a few days"
"What? No. It couldn't have."
"Jess I have a question do you remember me like everything and the boys?"
"Yeah. I do! I remember!"
I thought really hard and realized I did get my memory back and I am so thankful for that. I looked up and mouthed a "thank you" to my Grand Daddy for helping me. I'm hoping things turn up for me but in the meantime I'm am going to enjoy the time I have with Hayes cause he is most likely leaving in a couple days.

Now @omfg_hayes you don't have to kill me it's not a cliffhanger although I was tempted to make it one. You are welcome 💙
