[ Chapter seven ]
Asher's POV
                          
"Dad I-I can explain" her body shrinks like a turtle does. Her dad made his way over to us. "There is no explanation needed" he grabbed Annie by her arm and dragged her away. 
                          
"I'm sorry but I can't let this happen. I did it, it is all my fault. I'm in love with your daughter and I'm the one who did this. You can't punish me nor her for my love for her. My dad always told me 'Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift that is why it's called the present.' So that's what I do, I take everything as a gift from god and I think that this isn't an coincidence but a gift from god. He gave us this love that we both can't deny. And I'm really sorry this has to happen to you. But you will never be able to stop me from loving your daughter." And with that I left. I gave a quick look back, Annie was smiling like an idiot and her dad was shocked as hell. I gave Annie a quick wink before leaving. 
                          
When I came to our tent my dad was already packing everything up. "Ah your here son, can you help me pack the rest." He literally packed everything, including our tent. 
                          
"But dad you know we still have a night before we move into the cabin right?" He gave me a nod. 
                          
"Yeah I know but last night the Leblanc's offered us to stay the night with them so in the morning we could all leave together. Now help me pack" I was smirking like crazy. I was spending the night with Annie. I think Annie's dad will regret his decision now. My dad noticed and gave me I weird look. I just shrugged it off. 
                          
It was time to head off to Annie. We would eat with them and spent the night at theirs and we would all leave together in the morning. We got in our car and we got there in like 5 minutes. I couldn't wait to see Annie again, but I wanted to see her dads face even more. 
                          
The car stopped and I was greeted by Annie, Hayley and Caleb opening our door. I greeted Caleb and Hayley with a hug, I was about to hug Annie when I changed my mind. Instead of hugging her I kissed her, right in front of everyone. Well except her dad luckily, he would go mental.
                          
Annie blushed as I pulled away. Everyone looked at me in shock, I walked away smiling proudly. "You guys coming or what?" They all nodded and followed me still in shock. Caleb caught up with me and slapped my back in a friendly way. 
                          
"I'm just letting you know, I'm okay with you and Annie but my dad really isn't so just be prepared. But break her heart, I'll break your face got it?" I nodded not caring about the warning he just gave me about her dad. I know he doesn't like me but that isn't going to stop me.

Annie was seated at her usual place, I would normally sit down right across from her but not this time. I lowered myself next to her and laid her head on my shoulder. "What are you doing you idiot. If my dad sees us like this your dead you know that right?" I nodded my head. 
                          
"Yeah I know, but I don't care. What is he going to do about it, move me back to where I always need to sit. I'm not his dog, I'll move right back over here." She laughed giving me butterflies. Gosh she really is a gift from god, and she landed right in my arms. I intertwined our fingers and kissed her hand right when her father came around the corner.
