''ok, guys so we are gonna be in Chicago in 20 minutes.'' johnny said, sitting next to Darius who was driving.
''we should get to know each other better. i mean we are gonna spend 2 weeks with each other.'' nadia said and everyone nodded. ''annie you start. tell us all your secrects!''
i felt everyone's eyes on me so my cheeks become red. i bit my lip.
''i mean i think i told you everything you have to know last night.''
''you said something about your ex? tell us more!'' nadia smiled.
''we were like dating 4 years. i was so in love with him but he started to be weird and all. he thought i was cheating on him but i wasn't. he said that he was so angry and he cheated on me. end of story. i just broke up with him.''
''such an asshole.'' darius said, looking at the road.
''well i have to find someone who is gonna talk with me and no just cheating.'' i smiled and then looked at johnny. ''now is your turn! you have girlfriend right?''
''yes, her name is avery.'' girls took their phones and search her on instagram.
''avery buckley?'' i asked and johnny nodded.
''what's up with her?'' hayden asked looking at her photo in mackenzie phone.
''it's long distance relationship.'' he shrugged.
''oh, i would never date someone who lives somewhere else.'' nadia said.
''i mean if i'm jealous that she can sleep with other guys? of course. but i know she is not like that. we texting with each other 24/7 so i there is nothing i should be worry about.'' no one was convinced about this but we just left it. ''mackenzie?'' she looked at him with her one eyebrow up. ''your turn. we know you're single so maybe tell us why you signed up for this trip?''
''well i was obsessed with autumn and winter squad. i thoguht it was fun and i wanted to meet new people and just have good break.'' she smiled softly.
''your sister is maddie ziegler, right?'' she nodded. ''i saw she was on the winter trip but on fifth day she left.''
''yeah, she got a new offer related to dance so our mother told her to come back home.'' mackenzie explained
''what was that offer that she left? i mean it had to be something big cause i don't think anyone could just leave this trip for some backup dancing?'' nadia asked.
''i-'' everyone looked at her. ''i actually don't know.''
''maybe that's true?'' darius asked driving. ''that red squad actually create drama for clout.''
we all fell silent. i never thought about it that way.
''no i don't think so. but if it is true then it's not gonna work on us. i mean we just met, no crushes, single or good relationships, no fights. how we could start drama?'' everyone nodded, when nadia finally spoke.
''guys, we here!'' darius smiled and everyone looked at sign ''Chicago'' outside the windows.
i looked at my phone cause i got text. i raised my eyebrows.
''annie, something's wrong?'' hayden asked, looking at me.
''i- i got text from red squad.''
