"Perfect!" I exclaimed to myself finishing the banner.
Happy birthday to Teardrop! Was written on it with multiple hearts and smiley faces
This would have never happened if Needle hadn't gotten TD out of the house
"come on leafy" pin exclaimed "go get changed! TD will be here soon!"
Teardrops POV:
Spending the day with Needle really was nice we went to the movies, shopping, got fro-yo, to top it all off friendship bracelets
As needle walked me home we listened to music on her phone, lofi my favorite, and just enjoyed the night's mood.
"I'll see you later" she waved before running off
What could she be in such a rush for? Mm whatever I fumbled with my keys before I put them into the keyhole twisted and opened my door
"SURPRISE" EVERYONE JUMPED OUT ALL AT ONCE! Crowding me with greetings, hugs, gifts and more
I looked around at my house. Pin, pencil, match, bubble, ice cube, eggy, and many more were spread across my house, but no leafy
My heart ached with the thought of her not being here. What happened?
The wait is that Needle? Didn't she just walk away? I walk up to her she seemed out of breath
" I *pant* ran around *pant* the block and" she paused " climbed through the window"
She smiled at me
"come on, let's celebrate!"
she guided me to the living room which was covered with carefully stacked presents with bows and wrapping paper. in the center was an enormous box that took my interest.
I started to tug at its outer wrapping
Needle called everyone over so we could open presents together.
When most of the wrapping was gone there was a letter tied the surface of the box. I tugged it off and took a closer look.
In Leafy's handwriting, the front of the note said for the love of my life
I opened it up to find a letter
Dear teardrop,
Words cannot begin to describe how much I love you. You mean the world and more to me, I hope this gift will mean something to you too~
With love, kisses, and yoyal berries,

I noticed a string attached to the letter with "pull me" written on a paper attached to it
So I took the string with one hand and gave it a tug and the box fell apart revealing leafy her self
She had a now tie and a top hat. She smiled before taking my hand and placing a ring into my hands
Pure gold I could feel it
She kissed my hands and got down on one knee
"TD, will you marry me!" her glittering eyes looking up at me
I could already feel emotions welling up inside me. I threw myself into her arms and wept.
" I'll take that as a yes?" leafy asked
I pulled her face towards mine and gave her a kiss.
