Tsukiyomi's P.O.V

My wings beat strongly for a few times before I stopped the descend and disabled my ability, transforming back into my original body. The bottom of my shoes hit against the concrete ground with a thud.

Swiping and patting on my clothes, I get the dust and dirt off from my clothing and skin, thinking of getting a bath once the post-meeting was over. Since I stayed back later than the rest to talk over with Dazai, they had reached back to base earlier than I.

As I made my way back into the headquarters, my mind drifted back to the moment Dazai grabbed my wrist till I spoke about how I see his character to be. I felt warmth crept up my cheeks when my mind went past the memory of his actions. I shook my head, clearing my mind from any thoughts while trying to quell the burning feeling in my chest and my face.

People would fire me questions if I walked into the boss' office without cooling down. It was in the dead middle of the night, so the many Mafioso working here were either sleeping in their rooms or headed off to a mission or was currently on one.

Stretching my hands to the top of my head as I walked towards the elevators, I sighed in relief when I hear the soft crack of my bones, reliving the tension in my shoulders. Pressing the button to the highest level, I waited for it to reach my designated level.

With the all too familiar ting of the elevator, my face fell back to its usual blank expression automatically. I walked out of the elevator and was met with the two same bodyguards that I encountered when Chuuya brought me up to that highest floor.

This time, they seemed to recognise me, and they let me through without any problems. I gave them both a smile as I passed them. They didn't return the gesture, seeing as how it wasn't a genuine one but a forced, unemotional smile.

I pushed on the double doors and I was met with the team and Mori already sitting on the couches around the short coffee table in the middle of the big office.

"Welcome back Tsukiyomi-kun. You came back longer than I thought." Mori greeted cheerfully as he threw his arms out like a dramatic welcome back action. "I was thinking you would have came back together as a group."

I shrugged my shoulders and took a seat at the one-seater couch on the opposite end of him. "I had a few things I needed to take care of before I could escape. Plus, I used flight to return." I stated, my eyes boring into his. "In that case, I couldn't possibly be able to carry the rest back with me. My wings can only take my weight."

"Or was it for another reason, that you lagged behind the rest?" A sly smile crept up his lips, his eyes taking on a dark shade. It added on to the already mysterious and scheming aura he had around himself the moment he had set his eyes on me when I stepped foot in his office.

I glared back at him, returning his dark, sharp eyes with one of my own. "You knew the Armed Detective Agency is taking on the mission. You set and pitted them against us." I snapped angrily.

"Oh why, I have already planned to give this mission to you lot a long time ago." Mori shrugged his shoulders. "They have only gotten the protection mission on the day we sent the actual date that we will kill him. Plus, I wouldn't have known that the government would send such a high rated bodyguard mission to our foe enemies."

"You could have guessed that. Or hacked into the systems to see where the government had sent the mission to. It's easy pie for someone like Kei-kun to do if he was given the time. There's lots of that in before I joined back, Mori-san."
