Stood Up

                                    

                                          
(Kirishima x Bakugo)
                          
Kirshima sighs checking his phone for what seems like the hundredth time. His boyfriend still hasn't arrived and he doubts he's even planning on coming. It's they one year anniversary and he isn't even coming. 
                          
"Would you like to order?" His waitress has asked for the third time looking at him with sorrowful eyes feeling bad for the young man.
                          
"No thank you, just a little longer," Kirishima sighs looking down at the table knowing he should just  eat since he's already here but he wants to give him the benefit of the doubt. I glance at the eyes at are looking at be with apologetic looks and I hide my face in my eyes. I was so stupid, he always does this for everything. He's either really late or never shows up and it makes things so hard. 
                          
After the fourth time the waitress asks if he wants to order he decides he's just going to leave. He's not that hungry anyways and he doesn't want to just sit here receiving pitying looks from complete strangers. As he stands up a hand appears on his shoulder forcing him to sit back in his chair.
                          
He looks up at this spiky blond haired boy shocked as he sits in the seat across from hims "Sorry I'm so late traffic was terrible and I just couldn't get here fast enough," He grunts placing the napkin on his lap not even looking at Kirishima.
                          
"What?" Kirishima wonders still staring at him and wondering what this complete stranger is doing. Maybe he mixed him up with someone else.
                          
"I'm Bakugo just go with it because whoever stood you up is a jerk and doesn't know what's he's missing," This guy, Bakugo, says giving him a small smile as the waitress steps up next to the table smiling brightly at both of them.
                          
"Would you like to order?" She asks in a much more peppy tone.
                          
"Yes, ill take the steak and potatoes and you'd like-?" Bakugo answers before gesturing to Kirishima to give his order which he does quickly to which the waitress nods before walking away.
                          
"So, Bakugo do you do this often or am I your first?" Kirishima asks smirking at the man across from him who smirks in return and leans his chin on his hand as he admires Kirishima's face.
                          
"You're hot," Bakugo says abruptly causing Kirishima to blush and almost spit out his drink as he takes a sip.
                          
"U-um, uh yo-you t-too," Kirishima responds covering his blushing face with his hands trying to hide from this amazingly attractive man who called him hot. Him! His boyfriend had never coalesce him attractive before and Kirishima doesn't know how to handle it.
                          
Then their food arrives and Kirishima is more than thankful for the waitress who saves him from the awkwardness. They dig into their food the silence taking over and it's actually not as awkward as he thought it would be with this abruptly stranger. 
                          
They eventually settle into an easy conversation and Kirishima is happy to say that he actually liked this guy. He makes him laugh and actually listens to him when he talks unlike his current, soon to be ex, boyfriend. 
                          
Eventually the waitress comes back with the bill and we both get out our wallets. "I got this," Bakugo says smiling at Kirishima who looks at him confused.
                          
"But I always pay," Kirishima says confused as to why Bakugo is offering to pay cause his boyfriend says it's his responsibility to pay when they go out.
                          
"I got it," Bakugo states stronger as the waitress takes his card and walks away leaving an angry Bakugo. "This boyfriend of yours is really a jerk. Why are you even with him?"
                          
"He asked me out a year ago and it's been fine I guess. He's late a lot or he just doesn't come so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that he isn't here now," Kirishima sighs running his hand through his hair as he looks at the table. Bakugo reaches across the table and holds the hand that is still laying on the table.
                          
"What do you have planned after this?" Bakugo asks smiling at him softly.
                          
"Well, I would ask if we could walk through the park but he'd usually just suggest we go home," Kirishima answers blushing brightly and Bakugo knows exactly what he's talking about.
                          
"How about we go to the park?" Bakugo asks to which Kirishima nods his head happy that he isn't asking for what his boyfriend usually asks for cause that's all it seems he usually wants from Kirishima.
                          
The waitress appears with his card and they leave the restaurant side by side. Kirishima wants to reach out and hold his hand but his boyfriend was never happy about pda so why would this guy be?
                          
Bakugo could see his inside turmoil as he continuously glances at Bakugo's hand. Bakugo chuckles softly and reaches choosing that he'd be find if Kirishima held his hand, though he's typically not very good with physical contact. 
                          
Once they arrive at the park they walk in silence for a little while before Kirishima breaks as he stares up at the sky, "It's so beautiful out tonight."
                          
Bakugo glances over at the spiky, red head seeing the stars in his eyes making him blush and look up at the sky as well. "Yes, it is," He responds smiling softly happy to be here with this boy he had just met. "I was wondering, would you like to go out with me agin some other time?"
                          
Kirishima stops walking and looks at this boy next to him having not expected him to ask. He starts subconsciously nodding his head before doing it more enthusiastically as a grin appears on his face. "I would love that!" He answers enthusiastically. "I just have to break up with my boyfriend."
                          
Kirishima pulls out his phone to text his boyfriend cause he's done. "I know it's cruel to just text him that we're breaking up but I'm not sure how he'll react if I tell him in person," Kirishima mumbles paying more attention to his phone than anything.
                          
"Which is not a good thing for a relationship," Bakugo says staring at him while he texts away at his phone. When a smile appears on his face and he puts it away in his pocket Bakugo knows it's done. "It's over?"
                          
"Yep, and is love to go on a date with you," Kirishima says kissing Bakugo's cheek and regranting his hand as they continue their walk through the park happy to be with each other.
                          
This ones okay, maybe a little forced because I mean it's Bakugo...I hope you like it though😅✌🏻
