Chapter 32: Genesis
*August 20th*
Hiccup POV:
I sprang awake as my alarm set for 6am buzzed on my end table. I groaned, turning over as I swiped the green button on my phone. "Me and Freyas first day. She's in Kindergarten, at my school. Oh boy she's getting old." I tell Astrid as she cups her big round belly, sitting up, and walking out the door. "My baby is going to be 6 in a month," she complains and walked out of our room.
Astrid POV:
I opened the door and walked into Freya's pitch-Black room, covered with Barbies and stuffed animals. I sat on her bed, and saw a little smile as she slept, holding her stuffed Monkey, Bananas. I smiled and wiped her hair out of her face, and she awakens from my touch. "Hey baby! First day of Kindergarten!" I shriek and she smiled. "Yea!" She says and sprang out of bed. She flicked on her light, in which my eyes became bleary almost instantly. I wiped them, and copped my belly, due October 3rd. Freya ran out of her room and scrambled towards the kitchen, where the smell of Hiccups pancakes were made. He was still in shorts, no shirt, and still drooling over a lack of sleep. He flipped the pancakes and smiled at Freya as she got up on her stool. " good morning daddy," She giggled and he came over, touched her back and kissed her forehead. "Ready for your first day? Your going to look so beautiful as always!" Hiccup says and tickled underneath her chin, making Freya giggle. I smiled and then chuckled, covering my mouth. "Well! I need like 7 pancakes! This baby and me need fed!" I snickered and Hiccup glared at me. "If our son is fat when he comes out of the womb, I'm blaming you!" Hiccup says and my jaw dropped. I grabbed a magazine that was on the end table and chucked it at his head. "Really babe?" He he smirked and rose a brow. I rolled my eyes and looked at Freya. "Eat and then get me so we can pick out your outfit and I can do your hair," I say and she nodded, as Hiccup gave her some pancakes.

Astrid POV:
*7:10am*
"Very Beautiful," I say, and put my chin on Freyas head as she looked at herself in the mirror. I curled her hair and put half of it down and half of it up. She was wearing white vans, dark shorts, and a plaid shirt, with a cardigan.
"Thanks mommy!" She exclaims and was about to grab her bookbag, when she cringed. "Hey, your arm is still healing, take it easy, bit by bits." I soothe and she nodded at me. "We ready? I have a speech today!" Hiccup says and I smiled at him. "Very dashing babe," I say, referring to his tux, that principals wear. "Thanks babe! Freya you ready?" Hiccup says and she smiled. She was about to walk past him, when he stepped in front of her and threw her in the air, catching her again.
"Freya Rose Henry-Haddock, you look stunning!" Hiccup exclaims and pressed kisses all over her face. She giggled and touched his cheeks. "Now! Off to our first day!" Freya squealed and hugged my legs. I crouched down and kissed my sweet pea, and she hugged my neck. "Have a great first day!" I say and she nodded. I stood back up and pressed a kiss on Hiccups lips as he held my waist, and then we hugged, and my hands held his neck. He rubbed my back.
"Have the best day as a Vice Principal," I say and he nodded, looking nervous.

Freya POV:
*8am, Homeroom*
"Welcome to Kindergarten girls and boys! Find your name on your tag, and set your book bags in there!" Our teacher says. She hasn't even told us her name yet. I walked over to the cubby that said my name on it, but it didn't have the Henry part of my name in it. I sighed, and then thought of something. I grabbed a marker from my pencil bag, and added Henry-Haddock to my name, with my messy handwriting. I finished, admiring my work. I threw my bag into my cubby and walked into my Kindergarten classroom.
"Hello boys and girls! My name is Mrs. Atali! I will be your Kindergarten teacher this year, and today we will be doing lots of fun activities today, along with our school assembly!" Mrs. Atali explains, and then she showed us our assigned seats. I was sitting next to some kids named Evan, Hailey, Riley, and a big kid who looked mean, and his name was Johann. I smiled, and folded my hands, cringing at the pain in my left bone.
"Bit by bits!" I remember my mom saying, and I took a deep breath. "Hey! You!" Johann said, looking at me. "Is there a problem with your arm? Is a deformity?" He asks me and I looked down. "I broke it over the summer by playing softball," I answer, and the kids at my table sighed, except for Johann. "Leave her alone," Evan says and looked at me. "Don't worry girl, I'm your friend! I'm Evan!" He says sweetly and hugged me? I'm 5! "Um? I'm Freya!" I say and broke apart the hug between me and that weird boy.

Astrid POV:
I was at home, scrolling on my couch, scrolling through my phone. Then, on my Instagram feed, an update for "Berk Elementary School" appeared, and I immediately clicked on it. There was a picture of Hiccup, and the new principal,  Mr. Grimborn, standing next to each other with thumbs up, and behind them were all the Elementary school kids. I smiled at my boyfriend and rubbed my finger over his face on the screen. "Just the beginning baby," I say.
