"Y/n, wake up." I felt a light tap on my shoulder, my body lightly shaking. I let out a small groan, rubbing the sleep from my eyes as I sat up.
"Hm?"
"I made pancakes." I opened my eyes, seeing a smiling Shayne sitting on the edge of my bed. I returned the smile, my stomach releasing a growl straight from hell. This caused the blonde to laugh. "Shut up!" I blushed, throwing one of my pillows at him. He swiftly caught it, tossing it back and helping me stand.
"Come on, lazy ass. They're gonna get cold."
"Okay okay." I laughed, and followed him to the kitchen.
I know, I know. 'Oh my god Shayne stayed the night?!?!'
He did. But, he was respectful. He slept on the couch while I was in my room. I insisted that we swap places, but you know how Shayne is.
Last night with him though, was amazing. I never knew he had this side to him. I've never been treated so...nice. I mean, yes my relationship with Damien was great, don't get me wrong. But, to just so easily move on to someone else like that?
"Hey, you okay?" Shayne's finger was under my chin, lifting my face so I could look at him. His eyes had so much worry in them, and I watched as he scanned my face.
"Hey, how about after we eat we go window shopping? I know you love doing that."
I smiled, nodding my head. I don't know what was so fun about going to the mall and looking at things I couldn't afford.
"Thank you."

"Awe, look at these Dalmatian puppies!" I chimed, as I rushed into the little pet shop that had a new liter of puppies. The clerk smiled at me as I asked to pet them, gladly accepting my request. Shayne huffed out of breath as he finally caught up, panting. "Man, they are cute." He laughed, reaching in and petting one as well.
We spent about ten minutes petting puppies, before we left to continue around the mall. We had bought some small things here or there, but both grew famished around noon. "I think it's about time we had some lunch." Shayne aid as he pointed his thumb towards the food court. "Pizza sound good?"
"It's like you've got the key to my belly." I laughed, taking my bags and heading to the food court with him. "Find us a seat, I'll order a pepperoni."
"Sounds good." I took his small amount of bags, and we separated. I glanced around the food court, scanning the busy booths to find a vacant one, luckily coming across one.
"Sweet." I mumbled to myself, as I did a quick fast paced walk to the booth, tossing our bags into the seats and sliding in.
"Awe man, we were about to take that spot." I heard a voice laugh, along with a woman scoff. I glanced up, my eyes widening as I was met with the one person I didn't want to see.
Out of all the people in Cali, I run into the ONE person I don't want to see.
"O-oh, Y/n." Damien stuttered, pulling on the collar of his shirt. I glanced over to his left, seeing a woman standing there with her arms crossed. Something clicked in her brain, and a devilish smile formed on her face.
"Oh? You're Y/n?"
"Vanessa stop." Damien shushed her, but she stepped forward. When she leaned down, her low cut shirt revealed way more than I wished to see, and her acrylic nails danced on the table. "Could you be a dear and move? Since you're alone you'd be better finding somewhere else to sit. Damien and I found this place first."
I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She had big brown eyes, a small nose and plush lips. She looked exactly like a Barbie doll. I couldn't help but compare myself. My eyes weren't as shiny, and my lips not as full. She had curves, did I? No, I probably resembled a pear.
