Chapter 31: Day in the Sun
*2 Weeks Later*
Astrid POV:
I was awakened my little fingers pricking at my nose. I blinked open my ocean blue eyes, to be greeted by my daughters ocean blue eyes as well. I saw her light freckles she got from me and she yawned. "What's up sweet pea?" I groan and sit up on my bed. 
Sun was arisen, and it beamed down on me and Hiccups bed—radiating lots of heat. "I'm hungry! And it's still hard for me to grab plates!" Freya complains, reassuring to her broken left arm. "Yep! I'm awake." I say and quietly roll out of bed, trying to not wake Hiccup. Me and Freya tiptoed out of my room, and I closed the door.
"I'll get you some cereal," I exclaimed as I walked down the hallway, trudging around in my shorts and T-shirt. I walked over to the cupboard and grabbed 2 bowls for me and Freya. I grabbed Cinnamon Toast Crunch, one of Hiccups favorites, and poured some into the bowls. I poured some milk in the bowls and sat them down on the table, where Freya was patiently seated.
"What do you want to do today?" I exclaim, and I was greeted by Stormfly and Toothless. "Hm! I bet you guys are hungry huh?" I coo and they barked. "Sh! Daddy is sleeping!" Freya hisses and the pups jumped into the air, wanting food. I slouched over to the pantry and poured them some water and dog food, in which they faught over to their bowls.
"Swimming!" Freya giggled and ate more cereal. "Swimming?" I ask, confused and she rolled her eyes. "The Pool mommy! Let's go swimming!" Freya smiles and Toothless hopped on her legs. "Toothless! Down!" She says and he jumped off of Freya. "Yea! We can go to Berk City Pool! But you can't be in super long because of your cast," I exclaim and she nodded.
"Now! Go wake up daddy so we can be there at opening!" I say and she smirked. She ran down the hall and banged open my bedroom door. "WAKE UP NOW DADDY! WAKE UP NOW!" She screams, and the springs in my bed rattled—so she was jumping on our bed. "NOOOOO!"

*Berk City Pool*
11:45 PM
Astrid POV:
I was wearing a dark green shirt and my shorts, with grey sandals with ties that wrapped up to my ankles. A cute summer outfit, with a black bathing suit underneath me. I hated having to show my belly bump with stretch marks though, but battle scars.
"Mommy! How much longer?!" Freya complains, and Hiccup snickered. "Only about 15 minutes!" I hiss and she sighed. She was wearing a Barbie bathing suit, since she was obsessed with that show. "Now, your only in the shallow end today, since your cast." Hiccup says and she smiled at him. Freya held her casted arm, and we waited for the doors to open.
15 minutes later, the doors were opened and we paid to get in. I held my stomach and we walked down to some chairs, under an umbrella. "Here! You guys go swim, I don't want to show my belly." I exclaim and Hiccup folded his hands. "What?" I say, and he sighed. "Astrid! Your pregnant no one is going to care," He says and took of his shirt and shorts, showing his swimming trunks. Freya slipped off her shorts and her tank she wore, and threw it at Hiccup, who folded it into a pile.
"Well I don't like my stretch marks!" I huff and slowly sit down. Hiccup rolled his eyes and took out the sunscreen. He handed me the bottle, and began to wipe down Freyas back, arms, legs,face and belly. She giggled and wiped some of the lotion of Hiccups face, in which he chuckled.
"Astrid you should come in at some point!" He exclaims and grabbed Freya and threw her carefully over his shoulder, not hurting her arm. "BABE YOUR SUNSCREEN?!" I screamed but he didn't hear me because the lifeguards blew the whistles, and he jumped into the freezing cold water. I scoffed and tossed the sunscreen on the table.
I pulled out a water and some popsicles we brought in the cooler. I opened my water and took some small sips, as I watched Hiccup and Freya interact with each other. Hiccup was laughing and she was giggling. She was splashing Hiccup, and he fell backwards into the water, purposely. Freya pointed at Hiccup and laughed, and he chuckled and threw his hands up in defeat.
I smiled, and gushed at the sight of my boyfriend and my baby girl playing in the pool. I watched them and rubbed my almost 7-month pregnant belly. My baby boy began to move around a bit, and I moved more into the shade so I wasn't super hot, which was bad for my little boy.
"Babe come on!" I hear Hiccup yell, and he waved over to me. Freya carefully climbed on his back, and she waved to me as well. I sighed and smiled at them, with my stunning white teeth. I took off my pants and my shirt, revealing my stomach and my bathing suit. Hiccup cheered and Freya giggled, and I walked over to the pool. 
I sat on the edge and layed my feet in the water, since I didn't want to get fully in because I was pregnant. "Hey babe." Hiccup says and kissed me, quick but sweet. "Hi," I cringe from the hot sun.
"What do you say? 2-3 hours?" Hiccup says and splashed Freyas face. "Hey!" She exclaims and tried to splash Hiccup at her best with her right hand.
"Pff sureee." I say longly, and he smiled at me.

*Just after swimming-Home*
"OW! OW! IT BURNS!" Hiccup screams into his pillow as I put Alohe over Hiccups burnt back. "I warned you to wear your sunscreen, but nooooo you ran off." I smirk and rubbed more on his back. "Not helping!" He growls. Freya came into the room, hearing Hiccups screams. "What happened to daddy?" She says, dampened in a towel from her shower she just took. "Your father was being stupid and didn't wear his sunscreen! So his whole body is burnt! Haha!" I mock and kissed the back of his head. "I hate you," he mutters and I snickered. "I love you babe!" I shriek.
