As I walked behind Meiko, I kept looking back at the ex-queen as she walked away as well. I was glad that I got to hurt her just as she had hurt me, but at the same time, a little bit of me felt bad about it. When I first met Rin, before her mother died, she was a nice person. She cared for everything and everyone. I couldn't help but like her then. We would play together as kids would. She would sometimes talk about her twin brother, who was taken away before I met her. I always thought of her as my sweet little sister, but when her mother was brutally murdered, she completely changed. She would never smile in front of people and would be selfish about everything, except to me. She would send me love letters all the time, ones that reminded me of how she used to be, but over time I couldn't even remember the old Rin for the new one had ruled in a harsh way.

After a few years, I stopped sending her letters. Right after that was when I met the Princess of Green, Miku. We met at a gathering of the kingdoms. Rin was over talking to the Princess of Orange, Neko, with her servant right by her side the whole time. I saw Miku standing by herself at the edge of the room, as if to make herself invisible. She was the most beautiful person I have ever met. I went up to her and asked if she would like to dance with me. She gave me a shy smile and said yes. We dance for what seemed like only a few minutes but were really a few hours. Before she left, I asked if we could meet again. She said that she would meet me in a town in the Kingdom of Green. We set a time and day and left it as that. The days seemed to take forever until it finally came. I met her at the place we promised in some commoner clothes. She had some on too but she still looked as lovely as the day I first saw her.

As we walked and talked through the town, she spoke to so many of her people as if she were part of the town instead of royalty. She even picked up a hat for a boy that didn't really seem like he was from this kingdom. He gave her a rose, which made me a little upset. As she ran back, she had a smile on that I had never seen before. I felt a squeeze on my heart as I saw that, but I ignored it as we finished our fun day. Before we parted, she gave me a letter and told me not to open it until I got another letter from her kingdom. I was confused but did what she said. That night I decided to send a letter to Rin, telling her about my love for Miku. I wanted her to know that I can't be with her when I love someone else. I told the massager I wanted the letter sent as soon as possible. I had hoped she would understand, but of course that didn't happen.

Two days after I sent that letter, I received a letter but not from Yellow Kingdom like I thought I would. Instead it was from Green Kingdom, just as Miku said. It stated that Miku Hatsune was dead. I felt as if my body was falling to pieces. My mind was all jumbled up. I saw flashes of Miku, of her smile, of her long hair, of the dress she wore at the gathering. Then it hit me. I remembered the rose boy from the other day. He was Rin's servant, the one I saw with her at the gathering. I thought of the letter I sent to Rin just the other day. Would she really go as far as killing Miku out of jealousy? When I thought of her, both sorrow and hatred ran me. The Queen of Evil must pay. I started to arrange my army when a woman in red armor came to my castle. She told me she wanted revenge on the queen as well. I didn't care to ask for a reason. It was that day that we invaded the evil kingdom.

As I rode back to Blue Kingdom, my mind wondered. I thought of the grief I saw on the ex-queen's face, and then of my own despair of losing my loved one. I closed my eyes as I pictured Miku's smiling face. It wasn't the smile she would give me but the warm smile that she gave to the servant that day he dropped his hat. The more I thought of it, the angrier I got. Then I remembered what she gave me that day, the letter. Through all of my hatred and sorrow, I had forgotten all about it. I tried to remember where I put the letter. When I got back to the kingdom castle, I immediately went to my room to look for the letter. I found it on my dresser where I remembered putting it.

I took the message out of the letter and started reading

Dear Kaito,

If you are reading this, then either you listened to what I said and got the letter stating my death, or you read it because you were too impatient and were tempted to know. If you are reading this before you knew of my death, then I'm sorry to say that it is probably already too late to change things. My father has had all the kingdoms playing in the palm of his hand for a long time now and I'm afraid that it will cause great harm to the kingdoms. He has been planning to throw the Yellow Kingdom into chaos so that he could rule instead. I may not know the Yellow Kingdom's queen well, but I'm sure that she isn't as bad as my father. I have seen the torchers he has put people through just for his own entertainment. Being his daughter, I could do very little to help. The most I've done is save one lady from my father's evil clenches who was going to be sentenced to death just for having white hair. He is evil but smart as well, planning as far back as to the death of the old Yellow Kingdom's queen, Luka. It was his greatest spy that killed her and hid his tracks to make sure no one knew. He even planned to make the new queen, Rin, jealous of me and kill me, knowing you would want revenge. Only one person has tried to fight my father, a red knight of the Yellow kingdom. He was known to be the best knight and the Royal Army's leader. He left the kingdom even though the queen opposed. He was almost dead before I took him in, hid him, and nursed him. He told me about how his queen was very harsh as first but when her new servant came, she became more generous. People would complain about high taxes but his kingdom was poor, so the tax was actually lower than the other kingdoms. As for the people who were punished, they weren't as innocent as they seemed. They were all spies from both my kingdom and the kingdom of Purple, ruled by Gakupo. Gakupo is actually Rin's father who apparently left Yellow kingdom to rule by himself. He has been working with my father to tear the Yellow kingdom apart for some time now. A night after the knight had told me this, he was found and killed on the spot. I know this must be a lot to take in, but please, fulfill my last request. I know I have been deceiving you and I'm truly sorry for that; but all I ask is that you stop my father from causing any more harm to the Yellow Kingdom. They deserve better and I truly believe that you can help them. So please, that's all I ask.

Sincerely,

Miku Hatsune

As I finish  the letter, I realized that I was sitting down. I tried to comprehend everything I had just read. Was this really true? Have I been dancing with strings attached just for the King of Green? I don't understand anything, but one thing is for sure, and that's that I have to fulfill Miku's last request. I needed to have a little visit to the Kingdom of Green.
