Fish
"As a kit, I had gone to the twoleg place and this old cat said I had to protect his friends daughter and help lead her towards her destiny of saving her family from the evil in that area. I agreed to run off with the older kits that had gotten captured and I didn't go looking fir her. I just didn't realise I'd get a reminder of my failure "
                          
Splash
Splash gave her another confused look, "So you were supposed to care for another cat? Why have you just remembered her all of these moons later?"
                          
Fish
"Because of this." She revealed a small scratch on her ankle that hadn't been there before
                          
Splash
Splash bent down to inspect it, "I don't get it..."
                          
Fish
"I should have stayed with Swan. That way I might not have screwed up my entire life. The more time I stay away from Swan, the more time it takes for her to save her family, which means I get closer to my death."
                          
Splash
"Sorry, but I still don't understand... You mean that all of this that's happened to you is from not being with her? Forgive me, but that is odd."
                          
Fish
"I don't know why it happens....it just does."
                          
Splash
"So another explanation would be bad luck? Because a curse or something like that is pretty weird. I've never heard of something like that before."
                          
Fish
She shrugged "So either I have to leave to find Swan or Swan somehow finds us."
                          
Swan
Swan padded through the forest, her ears flat and her green eyes wide. She had no idea where she was now and hadn't for the last three moons
                          
Splash
"I should say that I hope that she'll come soon," Splash meowed, flicking an ear, the uneasiness going away.
                          
Fish
She scented the air "Speak of the devil." She whispered and looked past the bushes, a brown and white pelt among them "Swan?!"
                          
Swan
The loner looked up and narrowed her eyes "Harpkit?"
                          
Splash
Splash looked up at the new cat. He sprung to his feet and backed away from Fish. He perked his ears at the name; Harpkit. That's what that warrior called her when they were in the clearing.
                          
Fish
She growled at her former name before shaking her head "You have to leave! Now! Your family needs you!"
                          
Splash
Splash looked at them, confused. He didn't say anything because he didn't want them to be angrier if it came to that.
                          
Swan
Swan stared at her confused but didn't object "I'll see you again. Thank you." And she darted off
                          
Splash
Splash flattened his ears, still utterly confused. He looked at the spot where the strange cat had disappeared. "Was that Swan?" he asked, looking at Fish.
                          
Fish
She stared after her and nodded "I just hope she makes it home before its too late."
                          
Splash
"Too late for what? The Clan to kill her?" Splash asked.
                          
Fish
"Her family starts running away from the hunters that live where they live."
                          
Splash
'Hunters?" he tilted his head to the side, confusion mounting again.
                          
Fish
"We were captured by them and I managed to escape with the others. I'm not sure how Swan got out though."
                          
Splash
"You have a wild past," he murmured, looking to where the strange cat had gone.
                          
Fish
"Its one I'd rather get ridnof then live with." She admitted and with an attempt to change the subject, mewed "How's your paw?"
                          
Splash
"Better," he said, looking down at it rather than holding it up, "But I doubt it'll heal soon because of all the trouble we're getting in."
