I think a few people felt the tension but I smiled and looked down at Damon's hand still wrapped around my wrist. "She's such a great worker" He praised me in front of everyone and my cheeks were heating up as I uncomfortably smiled. 
                          
My eyes briefly met Shawn's again and he looked angry at the sight of Damon holding my wrist, I could see his clenched jaw and his eyes full of anger. 
                          
"Nice to meet you all, but I have a busy schedule" I say indicating for Damon to let go. He smiled at let go and I sprinted out of the meeting room with out another glance at Shawn. 
                          
Tears were brimming in my eyes, even though I thought I was fine today and I was getting better. But seeing him made me angry and upset all over again. I took a good few deep breaths and went into the bathroom. I relaxed and took deep breaths as I looked into the mirror. 
                          
I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine. I repeated in my head as I let out a loud sigh, then suddenly a sob escaped my lips. I didn't want to cry, but my emotions were getting the best of me because seeing him just made remember my feelings. I'm not fine.
                          
The door open and I wiped my eyes to leave because I didn't want anyone to see me crying. 
                          
"Valery Jesus are you okay?" Laura says as my eyes meet with hers. 
                          
"I'm fine, just a headache you know" I lie and she shook her head. 
                          
"Please don't tell me it was that douche bag guy you were telling me about" she says and I let out a sigh looking down giving it away. 
                          
"You know you are way better then that silly boy, I'll tell you know boys that will come and they won't realise what they have until they loose you. Let him suffer, you shouldn't be crying he should" She says giving me a hug and I rested my head on her shoulder trying to hold my tears back. 
                          
"Thanks Laura" I smiled as I pulled away and she patted my cheek. 
                          
"I'm going out to a club tonight down town if you wanted to come. Also bring your friend Zack" she offers. 
                          
"I would love to come" I say and she smiles at me. 
                          
"This will be good for you just to get out and have fun" she says and I nod.
                          
"I'm just going to use the toilet then we can have some lunch" she says looking at her watch and I nod. 
                          
I waited as Laura dried her hands and then check herself in the mirror. "Do you know how many hot guys were in that meeting room?" She exclaims and I shrug. 
                          
We both walked out and she excitedly had her arm linked with mine as we walked through the hall. We could see all the people slowly walking out of the meeting room and I felt uneasy incase I saw Shawn again. 
                          
And to my luck he had just stepped out of the room, and then stopped talking to one of the men. I really just wanted to turn away and bang my head against the wall.
                          
"Some of them are so hot" she swooned at the businessmen flooding the floor. 
                          
"Oh my God, that's Shawn Mendes. He's so hot" she giggled and I clenched my jaw feeling tense with her gaze on Shawn.
                          
"You need a man like him, I bet he would look after any woman like a gentleman" she says. 
                          
Only if she knew. 
                          
We were getting closer to the crows outside of the meeting room. I gulped as we both walked and tried to pass through amongst them. Laura gave some of them her flirtiest smile which some of their lustful eyes stuck on her. I was so thankful she didn't turn on my side where Shawn was. 
                          
As were just brushing through she bumped my hip and I lost my balance bumping right into Shawn. 
                          
She did not just do that. 
                          
"Sorry" I mumbled not even looking up at him as I managed to balance myself again. 
                          
"No worries Valery" he whispered as I turned away making my way through. Laura came beside me giggling as we walked into the cafeteria. 
                          
"You totally should've talked to him, I was waiting for him to catch you" she laughed and I rolled my eyes. 
                          
"Thanks for the push" I said sarcastically but she didn't take it as sarcasm. "But I don't know if I'm ready to talk" I say looking the options of food. 
                          
"I'm starving" she sang as she went up to the counter to order her food. 
                          
I was next and I just ordered a chicken sandwich and an ice tea. Then I sat at the table with Laura and just listened to her talking about her life. While she was rambling I was just consumed with my thoughts of Shawn. 
                          
"Holy shit, this is not happening!" She squealed quietly making me snap my head up from my ice tea to her face. Her eyes were in another direction making me turn my head. 
                          
You've got to be kidding me.  
                          
Shawn and all the other business men coming into the company cafeteria to get lunch. There was a huge table set up for them and they made their way. He looked around casually but then he completely froze when he looked at me. Our gazes met and I rolled my eyes before turning away. 
                          
"He was looking at you oh my God!" She gasped and I gave her an extremely fake smile before looking down at my ice-tea again. Everything was normal again, yet I felt awkward knowing Shawn was literally on the other side of the room. 
                          
Suddenly, a voice made me and Laura both jump. "Hello ladies" I looked up to see one of the business- men. He had slight stubble with tanned skin and dark hair. He smirked down at the both of us and Laura was practically drooling. 
                          
"I'm Andre" he says extending his hand out to me to shake. "Valery" I smiled shaking his hand before he extended his hand out for Laura. 
                          
"I'm Laura" she says batting her eyelashes and he smirked again giving her a wink. I thought she would have passed out from that single wink but she just looked flustered. 
                          
He then took a seat right next to Laura and she didn't seemed to mind at all. "How are you ladies?" He asked and Laura carried on talking to him. 
                          
"Laura I've got some work to do but I'll see you later, it was nice meeting you Andre" I smiled at them getting up grabbing my trash from the table. 
                          
"I'll see you later Val" she smiled up at me and Andre gave me a curt nod. 
                          
"Enjoy your company" I winked and they both laughed before I turned around and made my way to through my trash away. 
                          
I threw my trash away and I made my way to leave, as I was walking towards the door I wasn't sure if I should look back or not. I took a deep breath before quickly glance at the table Shawn was at but he was busy. I took a deep breath and turned away leaving through the doors. 
                          
He clearly didn't seemed bothered but it bothered me.

After my shift was over, I got into my car and as my usual routine was to bang my head against the steering wheel. I sighed and closed my eyes tightly so I didn't cry but flashes of Shawn's face today came into my head. 
                          
Why wouldn't he leave my mind? 
                          
Why did I miss him? 
                          
I looked down at my phone and then took a deep breath. I clicked on the contact name and waited for it to ring because I needed to speak to this person...
