DAMON'S POV
I'm on my 15th pull up , I'm currently at the gym part of my house. The gym is located in my basement.
As I'm continuing to do pull ups I hear the door open and slam shut , not acknowledging there presence the person clearly wanted my attention .
"Um hello ?!" I looked at Alexa as she was angry for me ignoring her existence.
I got down from the pull up bar and grab my water bottle .
"What do you want. " I say as I drink my water ,
"What the hell were you thinking saving that girl yesterday?" She snaps at me , my jaw clenches just hearing her annoying voice .
I walked past her and grabbed my towel wiping the sweat that's now dripping of my forehead .
" I wasn't thinking , the old me kicked in and saw an innocent girl who didn't know what was about to happen "  I tell her , I cared for Mia . I wasn't going to let her get hurt .
She looked at me skeptical, trying to see if I'm lying or not and I was , there was a new me but only for her , I want to protect her at all cost .
"You don't care for this girl do you?" She asks me , I couldn't tell her the truth .
"Of course not. " she then laughed at me , I looked at her in confusion.
"You're lying. " she says , I shook my head no.
"Really? So why haven't you fucked that girl yet That's been practically begging you to do so " she says crossing her arms .
"Who , Hannah ? "  I ask her ,
"Exactly Damon, you know who I'm talking about. " the truth is I haven't slept with anyone since the day I met her , I don't wanna have sex with anyone , not unless it's her.
"Fine , I will tonight to prove my point that I don't care for her. " I shrugged my shoulders tired of this conversation, she smirked at me in approval .
"That's what I like to hear . "  I look at her with a glare , 
"Why the fuck do you care anyway?"  I ask her annoyed by her presence.
"You know why I care Damon !" She yelled , she never yelled , this must be really bothering her , I know why she cares but that was the past. And she's nothing like her.
"She's not her Alexa , she's different. She's pure and innocent, she means no harm." I explain to her , She shook her head in disappointment at my words.
"Yeah, she was too at one point." She walked out the room , I sigh and make my way to the showers .

MIA'S POV
"I find it weird he saved you , it's like he knew it was gonna go off. " Jake says placing my picture frame back on my dresser , he joined me on my bed.
" I don't know Jake , but I am grateful. " I tell him , I'm glad Damon was there .
"How's Ryan doing ? How bad is he ?"  After the explosion the ambulance came shortly after I was taken to the hospital in case and I seen Ryan , he looked terrible. He definitely got caught up in a crossfire . 
"The doctor says he's doing better, may take a couple weeks for him to fully recover though."  Jake nodded his head not knowing what to say and I can't blame him , we're all in complete shock . 
"Well we better get to school don't wanna be late. " I tell him grabbing my book bag .

We arrived to school , as I walked in I saw Damon with that girl who gave me the glare , I asked around who she was and her name is Alexa. Blonde hair with red streaks about 5'5 , she's pretty .
