MIA'S POV
As I walk home from the park I just went too ,  I think of Damon. 
What did he mean by I caught his eye? Could he possibly like me ? No way I thought , I'm totally not his type. I'm a fragile , quiet and sad girl . 
I walked in my house and took off my shoes and made my way towards the living room. 
" hey mom I'm home. " as I finish my sentence a lady about my moms age and jake sitting in our dining room 
" jake !" I run and hug him , he hugs me back and I smile .
" I take it you two know each other already?" My mom says slightly laughing.
" yeah this is one my good friends that I have met so far in school. " I say looking at jake only to see him already smiling at me.
" that's good Mia why don't you show jake the house while I prepare dinner ?" I nodded my head and grabbed jakes hand to lead him to my room .
As we got upstairs we entered my room .
" this is my room ." I sat on my bed and watched him look around .
" nice , I like the yellow walls. " he said thank you and he joined me on the bed . " so how was your first day Mia?" 
" it was really good , i like all my classes , and I met you ."  he smiled at my comment .
" I'm glad I met you too. " we both smiled at each other , my phone vibrated and I look down to see a text from someone, I open the text.
I'm outside- Damon
It's from Damon , how'd he get my address? I never texted him my address ..
"  hey Mia , I was wondering , you know maybe.. " he started to blush , I quietly laughed .
" spit it out jake ." He laughs and nervously shifts. I never really seen a guy act like this before.
" I was wondering Maybe I can take you out? Grab some food or something?"  I smiled then realized Damon is waiting for me, I shot up from my bed and made my way towards the door.
" i would love too sometime jake , but right now my friend is waiting for me outside " I quickly tell him , I didn't want him to wait much longer for me.
Jake got up making his way towards me . " oh okay, let me walk you to the door at least. " he smiled and we walked downstairs, we got to the living room .
" mom I'm going out with a friend. " I yelled so she could hear me and of course, she came walking to the living room .
" where too?" I rolled my eyes, always questioning me everywhere I go , but I can't blame her , after what happened with dad , she's always on edge..
" Mia?" Jake grabbed my hand , I snapped out of my state of hypnotization and looked up at jake .
" I'm going out with a friend , don't worry mom I'll be back before 8 ." she gave me a sad smile.
" okay mi amore , be safe okay I love you ."  I hugged her and said I love you back and she went back to the kitchen " okay , if your here when I get back , we can play a board game or something ." I tell Jake.
" okay sounds great. " I opened the door and Damon stood there on the other side .
Jake tensed up beside me , I looked up at jake then Damon , they were both staring at each other but with hate? I don't know .
" are you ready ?" Damon finally spoke up looking down at me.
" yeah, let's go , I'll see you later Jake. " It had this awkward silence I hated it , Damon put his arm around my shoulder and we started walking to his car .
