(QUICK A/N - This set of characters descriptions are for the main character, Anastasia, and her brothers. There will be another set of character descriptions, when we meet Ana's new family in a couple of chapters. Until then, let's get into Ana and her brothers character descriptions.)
Anastasia "Ana" Smith -
Played By: Sabrina Carpenter
"I will never forget how badly you all fucked me over, but I'm tired of hating you all. Quite frankly, it takes up too much energy, so just please give me the time I need and I promise someday we'll eventually have a relationship with each other."
Nathaniel "Nathan" Smith -
Played By: Ross Lynch
"I promised to be your number one person, number one supporter, no matter what. And I broke that promise the minute I didn't stand up for you against our brothers. There will never be enough apologies that I can say to make up for that, whether I was a child or not, so were you."
Jackson "Jack" Smith -
Played By: Kevin Quinn
"I'm a jackass, okay? You can call me Jackass Jackson. I'm also a dumbass, if we're being honest right now. I'm a lot of not good things. I'm trying to be better though, I'm not perfect, but I'm trying, and I hope you can see that."
Mason "Mase" Smith -
Played By: Kevin Quinn
"I have no excuse for why I treated you so shitty, and even if I did, it still wouldn't have been reason enough. I'm working to become a better human, a better brother. I've needed to change for a long time now, and even though I've finally started, I'm no where near acceptable enough to count as a decent human being. I hope someday, in the future, whenever you're ready, we can become acquaintances because I'd love to get to know the new you, and have you get to know the new me."
Matthew "Matt" Smith -
Played By: Zac Efron
"I was the older brother, I was supposed to protect you. Yet, you protected me. You never once let the truth slip, even through all the hell we put you through, all the hell I put you through. Why?"
"James "Jay" Smith -
Played By: Patrick Dempsey
"I was the oldest, I was the leader of the pack, everyone followed my lead. I should have protected you, whether you were the one to make that stupid phone call, or not. I hope you know that I will spend the rest of my life trying to make up for the damage I've done, even though it's all permanent. I'm sorry, Ana. And those three words don't even begin to express the truth of how sorry I am for being so small-minded. You were a child, you were never the one at fault."
(ANOTHER QUICK A/N - Here are the characters along with a quote from each of them at some point in this book. This time around I want to make these characters somewhat redeemable, nothing will ever change the trauma Anastasia will be going through, but the growth behind her brothers will push her into her decision on forgiving them and eventually forming a relationship with them. First time around it was too quick, this time around hopefully it'll be more smooth and pushed out, but we'll see what happens. Make sure to swipe up to read the first chapter of this book. Thank you!)
