Shadowfang flicked her ear in annoyance. She was sitting beside the warriors den, her tail thumping on the ground. Sleetstorm had retreated back into his den.

Shadowfang looked back up from the ground. She flicked her ear and glanced at the medicine den.

Widowstream sat by the fkp. He was gnawing at what was left of a shrew that he had eaten earlier. Prey would be easier to find soon, but until then, he thought the best solution was to savour his food for as long as possible.

Shadowfang flicked her tail. She got to her paws, her eyes catching her mate in the corner of her eye. She padded over to Widowstream, and sat down beside him.

"Hey," Shadowfang purred, smiling.
                          
Darkstar
Darkstar cleaned her paws by her den.

Widowstream looked up from his meal. "Hello." He purred happily.

"How is it going?" She asked.
                          
Widowstream
"It's going well," he responded. "hopefully even better when the temperatures lift more, you can still feel a slight breeze of the departing Leafbare."

Flame sat under her log in the forest.

Shadowfang nodded, "Feels great, doesn't it?"

"It really does, I can't wait for all the prey to finally come back out."

"That would be a great time. We wouldn't be sending out emergency hunting patrols anymore (not like we haven't been)."

Widowstream nodded.

Shadowfang flicked her ear. "Yeah. It'll be a great time."
