decorating and dinner

                                    

                                          
We landed in New Jersey and got of the plane. Going through the tunnel connecting the plane to the airport was freezing cold. We got into the airport and stopped to get something to eat. I got a muffin and a chocolate milk. Bandit got a brownie and white milk. We walk over to where the carousel was and waited for our bags to come around. I saw mine coming through and I grabbed it. After that came bandits then lyn-z then Gerard. We walked to the rental car area of the airport. Gerard Went to get our rental car while we went and sat on a bench
                          
" I know I put you girls winter coats somewhere around here" Lyn-z said looking through the bags. She found them and we put the on. We walked out of the airport into the cold of New Jersy. We got into our rental van and buckled up. Gerard started up the car and turned up the heat. 
                          
"There is only about an hour drive from here to Grandma and Grandpa's house" Gerard told us as we drove. He glanced in his rearview mirror and smiled at us. We smiled at him. I went back to playing on my phone and bandit took a nap. Finally we pulled into a familiar looking neighborhood. Gerard pulled into the driveway and I unbuckled me and Bandit. We walked up to the front door and knocked. Grandma opened the door and all the sudden it felt like home to me. It smelt like fresh baked pumpkin pie and it was nice and warm. We walked into the living room and sat down. Soon Mikey and Alicia showed up and came in. 
                          
"Hey kiddo" Mikey said to me rufflingy hair. I groaned and fixed it. We deciced to go out for dinner to a fancy restaurant. I went to the room I would be staying in and grabbed one of the dresses I packed. It was red and it came down to my knees. It was sleveless so I grabbed a sweater to go with it. Bandit came running up to me as walked out of my room. 
                          
"Do I look pretty?" She asked. 
                          
"Yes" I told her. She had on a black and red checked dress with little black shoes and a big black bow in her hair. 
                          
"Are you ready to go girls?" Gerard yelled.
                          
"Yes" I yelled back. We walked to the front door.everyone awed over us and took our pictures. We finally got out the door and into the cars. We drove to the restaurant. 
                          
"Reservations for Way" Gerard told the man. 
                          
"Ah right this way" he said walking off to the back of the restaurant. There was eight of us all together. Not counting the one that lyn_z is carrying. We sat down and looked at the menu. 
                          
"Wow it's packed here." Mikey said. 
                          
It was extremely packed. We got our food and finished eating it. They payed and we walked out of the store.  decided to drive home with Grandma and grandpa went with Gerard and lyn-z. Grandma and I needed to store at the store to pick up something's for tomorrow. We got to the store and got some of the regular cooking things. We also got something's to decorate the Christmas tree. We were going to decorate it tonight as a family. We checked out and got back in the car. We drove back to the house. When we got home I helped grandma put everything away and then we watched grandpa put up the tree. Grandma went up to the attic and got the older decorations she had saved. Me and Bandit were put the lights on and then the tinsel. After that we took the ornaments out one by one and put the on the tree. Everyone once and awhile Gerard or Mickey would remember an ornament from their childhood and comment on it. After we finished the tree we watched a movie. Then bandit started to get tired. So Gerard took her upstairs and changed her into her pjs. I ate some pop corn at talked to Alicia and I finally decided that I was getting tired. I went upstairs and changed into my pjs. I climbed into the bottom bunk of the bunk bed that I was sharing with Bandit.
