London's o2 arena was the last stop for the second leg of the tour. Indigo didn't mind the rigorous touring life, but she also didn't mind being home in New York. She knew Kid was a workaholic and could go off of four hours of sleep if she let him. That's another reason she was glad she did the tour.

Now in just a few days they would be back in their flat that they probably only spent two months in before starting the tour.

"What are you thinking about?" Kid asks sitting down next to her. They were on a fifteen minute break from soundcheck. Shaking her head she turned giving him a smile. "Excited about the last show and happy to be going home. We barely spent any time in our place."

"I know, I'm sorry mama. We'll have plenty of time after this though, I'm taking a break for the wedding. Did you talk to your mom about the dates?"

"Yeah, I talked to yours too. She still wants us to have a big elaborate thing.."

Kid leaned closer to her. "Do you want to?"

"I just want to walk down an isle and marry you. It doesn't matter how big it is."

He put his hand over hers, intertwining her their fingers. "Then we'll have it just how you want it. Moms will be okay with the church your grandad went to."

"I said are you ready to go home!?" Kid yelled, getting a loud 'no' from the crowd

"I said are you ready to go home!?" Kid yelled, getting a loud 'no' from the crowd. They were about to do the last few sets and go in to Forever In My Life, and he was going to deviate from the usual routine. Everyone knew except Indigo.

"London, I have a confession to make. Listen closely.

There comes a time in every man's life when he gets tired of fooling around. Juggling hearts in a three ring circus, some day it will drive a body down to the ground. I never imagined that love would rain on me and make me want to settle down.
Baby it's true, I think I do, and I just want to tell you that I want to with you, and baby if you do too.
Oh, forever, forever. Baby I want you forever..I want to keep you for the rest of my life. All that's wrong in my world you can make right. You are my savior, you are my light.

Forever I want you in my life."

Taking off his guitar and handing it off, he walked over to Indigo, who was singing backup with Sheila and Levi. He took her hand and walked them back to his mic. "There comes a road in every man's journey, a road that he's afraid to walk on his own.
I'm here to tell you that I'm at that road, and I'd rather walk it with you than walk it alone. You are my hero, you are my future. When I am with you, I have no past. Oh baby my one and only desire."

Indigo looked away from the screaming crowd, blushing slightly. She couldn't believe he was doing this in front of twenty thousand people. "London, I must admit I'm in love Indigo Lafaire."

The roars only got louder, making her want to pull away, but Kid wrapped an arm around her waist. "And I'm going to marry her." Picking her up and spinning her around, the band broke out into laughter as the crowd went berserk.

Even though news reports had already been released months ago, rumors were still circulating and this would only add fuel to the fire. The news would hit America before they could leave the stage, and the flat they shared wouldn't be enough to hold back the frenzy of fans that wanted to see the engaged couple.

It would also make the jealousy of Kira Morgan turn bitter and spiteful.

She threw the remote into the wall, creating a dent. Video of Kid announcing he was going to marry Indigo was looping over and over on every pop culture television station. She couldn't believe they would be getting married when he had responsibilities to take care of.

"Fucking liar!" He'd promised to call her about getting tested and never did. "Well Mr. Kiddings, you got another thing coming to you if you think you're going to live happily ever after and not be in your child's life!"

The crying of her one year old got her attention. She walked over the the baby's bed and picked her daughter up. "What's wrong princess? Don't cry, mommy isn't mad at you. You just have a trash father is all."

"I can't believe this is such a big deal. They basically knew the whole time."

"Maybe I should have waited longer to announce it. I was just thinking it would be special for us to end the tour with something to celebrate." He sighed, laying his head back on the pillow. Indigo kissed his chest, snuggling closer to him as she watched television. "Don't worry too much about it baby, I'm not."

"You're right, I can't change it now. I'm happy everyone knows you're mine and I'm yours." He truly was, especially the unexpected visitor that came to his soundcheck a few weeks ago. Kid was due to call her in the next day or two, but he couldn't do it without her knowing there was never a chance of them being together.

He didn't even recognize Kira after two years. He was barely sober the night they hooked up. It was during his first tour when him and Indigo were broken up. He doesn't remember much during that time except missing her so badly.

Fuck! I can't lose her again. He subconsciously held her tighter, rubbing her bare back. He would just take the DNA test when they got back and make sure the little girl was his before telling Indigo anything. She knew he had his flings while they were apart, but this was totally different.

Indigo laughed at the movie she ordered playing on television. She was oblivious and happily in love with Kid, and that's the way he wanted to keep it...for now.
