Andrew slowly picked up his phone and told his mother he would call her back.
"Um, well I'm just going to go. And well, this is now awkward.... Yep I'll just leave."
"No wait, I'm sorry what's your name?"
"It's um, I-it's-s um..."
"What don't have a name? Because it seems like little Miss clumsy is now all shy." Andrew was now being patronising. He didn't know who this girl was or why she was in this school. But now she knew his secret. She knew who he was. That was something no one could ever know.
Not now, not ever.
'Maybe I could ask for a new law to be passed. The death of anyone who finds out who I am' Andrew thought.
He wanted this to not be real, for it to not be happening. He wanted it all to go away.
'This is not supposed to be how it goes...' his thoughts were soon cut short by what the girl in front of him said.
"Look if you're worried about me spilling your secret PRINCE ANDREW CHARLES of Aderelle, I'm not because to be honest I didn't hear anything. I am now going to go." Theodora whisper yelled so that no one would hear, because she knew if he wanted people to know they probably would have already.
And with that she walked away leaving Andrew stunned.
He didn't know what to do.
No one ever walked away from him, whether they knew his status or not. It never happened. He felt confused, ashamed almost at his actions towards this girl. He had no idea who she was, yet she left him alone in a slowly crowding hallway. He had no idea what to do. No idea what to say. He was slowly realising he had never thought about what would happen if this situation ever occurred. He never believed it would. He felt useless and incompetent. He kept this secret for so long, and now someone outside of the royal court knew.
He was well and truly royally screwed.
