Noah's POV
I pull a chair beside the ugly hospital bed and sit in it. I hope she's okay, I really messed up this time.
I look down at the bracelet and back up to her arm. I should give it back. I don't want anything else like this to happen.
I pull the bracelet off and slide it on her arm. I hold her hand longer than needed on purpose. I don't know how long I was sitting there like that but I was shocked when I felt her pull her hand away.
I look up to the two most beautiful pair of hazelnut brown eyes I've ever laid eyes on.
Abigail's POV
I wake up to a really boring hospital room with a hand in mine.
I look to see who's it is and to say I'm surprised is an understatement.
I see Noah sitting with his head down and hand in mine. I also see my bracelet back on my wrist.
I sit with his hand in mine for a few more seconds but pull it away slowly.
Noah jumps and looks up, looking straight into my eyes. I decide to say something before anything weird happens.
"Thank you" I pull my wrist up and shake it, making the bracelet shake and make noise.
"Oh, um, it's the least I could do after all this." He points up and moves his finger in a circular motion. Indicating the room and the stuff that happened.
"Hey," He looks back over to me. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have exploded on you like that. And it's not your fault, you didn't know and I wasn't careful." I told him, I could tell he was blaming himself.
"I've been here the whole time. Do you know what happened?" He tells me with slightly pink cheeks. Wait a second, is he, blushing? Oh wow, this is great.
I get my phone of the table by the bed and take a picture of him real quick. It was cute, he had his head down slightly and he was blushing, playing with his hands.
"Did you just take a picture of me?" He asks, the blush gone.
"...noooo" I hold the phone to my chest, a slight smile playing on my lips.
"You totally did, give me that" he reaches for my phone.
"No! Back away!" I yell at him, holding my arm out as far as it will go away from the side he's on.
Suddenly someone clears their throat and we freeze and look at the door. The doctor stands there staring at us.
Currently, I have my hand on Noah's chest and my arm spread out the opposite direction of him. He is leaning over me with one hand around the wrist that's on his chest and the other reaching for my phone.
"I'll get you back" he backs away from me and sits back in a chair. As soon as he leaves I feel really cold again. All the warmth he brought went back with him.
"Well, I'm glad to see your awake and well." the doctor says and glances at Noah. I hold in a laugh and I can hear Noah chuckle but cover it with a cough.
"Are you feeling any pain?" doctor, Mason, said. His name is very small on his name tag. I shake my head. "Alright, then you can be discharged tomorrow. I want to keep you overnight to see if anything changes and if it does then we'll see where we'll go from there." Mason said and walked out.
"I'll be right back," Noah said really fast and shot out of the room. Well okay then. I'll just wait here all by myself. I get on my phone and look at the picture I took of Noah. Just looking at it is making my heart flutter and bringing a smile to my face.

I look up real quick and see Noah at the door with a phone in one hand and taco bell in the other. "Now we're even," he says and puts his phone in his pocket. He got me when I wasn't looking! And I was smiling like a creep! UGH!
"Aww you brought me taco bell, how sweet"
"Um this is for me not you," He says and I started crying on the inside, that's how hungry I was. "I'm joking! Here," he hands me a taco and I snatch it out of his hand, sticking my tongue out at him.
"I just thought I'd bring you dinner because no one wants to eat hospital food," He says with another slight blush on his cheeks.
"Oh, so you skipped asking and bought me dinner. Don't you think that's moving a little too fast?" I ask him but I'm just messing with him.
"What? That's not what this is..." He says. I wait, I can see it on his face he has more to say. "unless you want it to be." I decide to play around some more.
"Mmm nah. I like a gentleman who asks at the perfect time. Like in front of a beautiful sunset. At a beautiful beach. You know, someone who planned it, not just a last minute thing. That's how I want it to go down." I tell him, he looks like he's soaking in every bit of detail.
"So how many tacos did you get?" I ask him and break him out of his little trance.
"Oh, um, I got a 12 pack." He says. Perfect, I can tease him some more.
"You callin' me fat?" I put a hand over my heart.
"What!? No no!" I start laughing at his reaction. He catches on and the look goes away. While I'm calming down I hear him grumble under his breath. "Girls, I swear."
