(Y/n) pov

"Now, um, get me water, please. Some for yourself too, if you want." I tell Ban once I'm sober.

"Are you feeling better now?" he hands me a glass of water, I nod before drinking it.
"So what are you going to make me do now?"

"Just, be honest with me... why do the sins want me back?"

"Captain promised the princess that he'd help her reunite all the sins to protect the kingdom." He explains.

"I see," I twist my necklace.

"And we all missed you. You're a part of the team. I thought you were friends with every one of us... what the hell is keeping you here? You got a boyfriend or something?" His sounds annoyed.

"No, just friends and co-workers." I reply.

"And that's all you want? You're just content settling? You don't care about any of your hopes and dreams? Are you even giving up searching for endarah?" His tone is rough and accusatory.

"How is finding the only weapon that can kill me a bad dream to give up?" I glare.

"So you are saying you stopped looking?" He tries harder to sound like it doesn't irritate him.

"I already found it." I state.

Bans eyes widened, taking in my whole presence. Looking me up and down.
"How? Why, why are you still alive?"

"I can't use it on myself. You're actually the only one who can use it to kill me." I explain.

"What?!" He's even more surprised.
"Why... why haven't you tried to find me then?" He asks softly.

"Well, you can't use it yet." I reply, making him sigh.

"Why not...?"

"Specific requirements haven't been met." I'm careful not reveal anything, but I was too vague for him to be satisfied.

"And those would be?" He raises an eyebrow.

I hesitate to speak again.
"You need to remember me."

"And?"

"That's it. You need to remember me from before I found endarah." I explain.

"But I do." He states.

"No... you don't. I um, I wasn't honest about my search for endarah. I, I had already found it..." my chest hurts.

He blinks a few times trying to process it, with the small amount of information I gave him.
"What?"

"We had met before the sins." I nervously bit my lip.
"Before either of us were immortal."

"What the hell?! You can't be serious! Why would you wait until now to tell me!?" His reaction was expected.

"It's complicated... I'm sorry... I'm not saying I'm in the right, but you'll understand when you get your memories back." I feel like I'm going to start crying.

"What kind of memories are we talking about? How did we know each other?" He asks.

"Completely valid questions, but you're just going to need to remember. Then, then you can kill me... please." I beg.
