Chapter 7

                                    

                                          


                          
I don't remember getting off of the plane. Hell, I don't even remember the plane taking off but we are back in California. "Thanks for picking us up." I thank Kat. "Of course!" She says with a smile. "I'm just glad everyone is back and the guys are safe." She says with a smile and I nod. "You okay? You don't look so hot." Kat says, looking at me in the rear view mirror at a red light. "Tired." I nod and look back out of the window. My purse opens and my court paperwork falls out onto the floor. "Okay, we are here." Kat says as she pulls into my driveway. I thank her one last time and get out. I go inside, lock my door behind me and go straight to bed.
                          
	She gets to the guys house and goes inside. Colby grabs his carry on from the backseat and spots the paperwork on the floor. Assuming that it's his arrest paperwork he grabs it and goes inside. He brings his stuff up to his room and grabs the paperwork. He is texting his mom and needs reference. He realizes what it is and tells his mom he will call her back. He reads through the entire packet, learning about everything I went through. 
                          
	"Corey?" Colby calls as he walks towards Corey's room. "Yeah man?" Corey says as he opens his door. "I got Samii's paperwork by mistake." He holds it up. "What paperwork?" Corey asks. "Court room transcript." Colby says and Corey snatches it from his hand. "Did you read it?" Corey asks and Colby nods. "There is a lot of bad stuff in there." Colby says with a sigh. "I'll read it." Corey nods. Colby returns to his room and Corey and Devyn read through it all. "There was so much we didn't know about." Corey says. "Wow." Devyn says. "No wonder she is the way she is." Corey says sadly.
                          
	The next day I wake up and eat breakfast and then head to the gym. When I get home Kat is sitting on my porch waiting for me. "Hey! What's up?" I ask as I unlock my door. "You left some papers in my car." She says as she hands them over. We go inside and I set my keys down. "Thanks." I say as I go into my office and set them on my desk. "So what's up?" I ask as I join her in the living room. She fidgets nervously and I furrow my eyebrows. "Let me guess, you read it." I say and she nods. "Are you mad?" She asks and I shake my head. "No." I say honestly. "Colby, Devyn and Corey, Sam and I all read them. Colby found them in the back of the car last night thinking they were his." She explains.
                          
	"Wow. I feel super exposed all of a sudden." I rub my face with my hands. "No one is judging you." She says. "Colby gave it to Corey after he read it. Sam and Colby told me about your nightmare and Colby told us about what he read. We got the papers from Corey and read them." She says sadly. "It's all good. You all would have found out eventually anyways." I say with a shrug. "Just don't treat me any differently please." I beg and she shakes her head. "Of course we wont." She says. I thank her and after a few minutes of talking she leaves.
                          
	My phone buzzes beside me and I look at the text.
                          
DoodleBug- What are you doing today, lovely?
                          
Me- Apparently coming over to talk to you guys and explain why I kept things from you.
                          
DoodleBug- You kept things from us? 
                          
Me- Don't play stupid. Kat just dropped off the paperwork and told me everyone read it. Everyone except Aaron and Jake.
                          
DoodleBug-  You mad?
                          
Me-  Nah, When do you want me to come over and explain?
                          
DoodleBug- Corey and Colby are at the gym right now but you can come over anyways. We can talk when he gets back.
                          
Me- kk see you soon. xx

	I hop in the shower and wash my body and hair quickly. I get out and change into a pair of sweatpants, a tshirt and my black chucks. I grab my phone and charger and throw it in my purse before leaving. I stop and get Devyn and I coffee from Starbucks and then head over. When I get there Devyn is up in her room, waiting patiently for me. "I brought coffee!" I say as I walk into her room. She sits up with a perky smile. "Yum!" She says as she takes a sip.
