Ellesmere's POV

Tony did me a favor by letting me drive his favorite car. It was a red Ferrari, it was normal cause Tony had a thing for cars, especially sport cars, they were like his babies and I received a nice warning not to scratch it. I really enjoyed hearing the engine revving as i zoomed towards the Airport.

The drive was long and uncomfortably silent. I fumbled with the radio to at least lighten the mood with some music but instead there was a lady crying over her husband who apparently left her for the pizza delivery girl in their neighborhood. I switched to another station but that one had a love discussion going on.

After three more tries, I clicked it off frustratingly. I slid the window down so the wind could blow in my face and hair then shut my eyes soaking in the evening air.

"You like that?" Thor's voice broke the silence at last, snapping me out of my windy paradise.

I nodded, "Yeah, the wind clears my head a lot of times and helps me relax."

I looked into his face, there was some pained expression there. Almost regret.

"How much did i hurt her? "He asked again without looking at me, his hair, the only visible thing on him as his clothes were all black and brown.

"I don't think having this conversation would help in any way and besides, she's okay now! "I said biting my lip as i turned to look outside. Suddenly there was a long line of cars, we were stuck in traffic.

"I was very careless letting them use me in such a manner. Jane doesn't deserve to suffer, not her, not even you or anyone else." He stared at me this time, his grey blue eyes very much similar to mine. I almost felt like i was looking into a mirror.

"I was a victim too, remember? I didn't mean to hurt anyone on purpose, i'd never do that. But i'd never blame myself because i was forced out of my will and i am oddly satisfied that the memory was a blur, it's good that we don't recall at all. "

He nodded then turned to look out of his window. I rested my hand on the side of the window then leaned on my hand for support gazing at the lights that shone from each car. I remembered wanting to drive around with my dad but I was only ten years old and Jane said I couldn't drive. I remembered ignoring her for a whole day.

I smiled at the thought then I heard Thor opening the car door. I turned quickly but he was still in his seat with the car door ajar.

"Why'd you do that? "I asked with amusement in my voice. He smiled widely and pointed at the side mirror. There was a black Hyundai behind us steering left and right, probably for a way to drive in next to the Ferrari.

There were two cars beside me on the right and another two at the left but one of them had moved further creating space for one more car but Thor opened the car door to prevent the Hyundai from taking the spot.

"You can be so silly sometimes. Let the poor fellas through! "I said laughing and Thor joined me then quietly shut the door and just then, the Hyundai drove straight into the open space. The driver's window rolled down and a long haired man with funny eyes and yellow teeth yelled at us causing us to laugh harder.

The traffic finally moved and soon we were heading for the Airport.

"Can you tell me why you're scared of rubber?" Thor asked as we walked towards the departures.

I chuckled mischievously "I'm not. I made that up!"

His brows knotted in confusion, "Why?"

"You know how superheroes always have one big weakness like Superman and kryptonite. I thought if I was gonna be a super super villain, I was gonna have one too. So j made it up that i was scared of rubber and i kinda half expected the US government or S.H.I.E.L.D to come up with some new crime fighter called the Rubber Band Man or Eraser guy or something to come chase after me , all dressed up in rubber suit and rubber weapons and rubber bullets with his rubber powers and wrap me up in rubber bands and send me to a rubber jail." I explained and Thor's laughter echoed endlessly in my ears.
