everything is black i hear muffled cries.

i was sitting in class and all of a sudden shawn calls me
"AALIYAH WE NEED TO LEAVE"
i was so confused
"aaliyah shawn signed you out, your bestfriend tried to commit suicide. i'm sorry"
my eyes started to water
shawn's pov
i was sitting in the chair next to her crying and crying i wanted to scream but i couldn't i need to keep my cries to myself.
i felt someone squeeze my hand i look up
"NICOLE"
omfg she's awake

"DOCTOR SHES UP COME HERE SHES UP"
i look at her

she says quietly
"hello beautiful i missed you"
she looked away
"hello ms. nicole, i'm glad to see you awake you've been out for 2 days but your all good now. also your little boyfriend here hasn't left your side, he's a real keeper"

she whispered to the doctor as she left

"yea that's the only way i could stay with you. i was broken for 2 whole days. i needed to see you."

my voice cracked

i began crying more
"i can't believe you came after me"

"i have to go back to class, i love you"

i look over at shawn and he was already looking
"hey, so i'm kinda hungry. when can we get food?"
i said quietly

"taco bell?"
"omg that sounds so good i haven't ate in forever"

"yea, i forgot to say i haven't eaten or drank anything since you been here"
"oh my lord, i'm not that important, take care of yourself before someone else."

"nope, end of argument. now what do you want from taco bell i'll have someone deliver it."
"shawn go outside and get fresh air"
